  1. If I was in a position, where I knew something and had no feelings for the club, a simple trend bucking refusal to sign a non disclosure agreement, could mean a job for life, or at least a job for as long as I wanted one.
  2. Sounds like the stand out candidate then. Stands out for the wrong reasons, but stand out non the less.
  3. I suspect he is realizing he’s been had. Someone at the club may be saying things to certain people, that are being taken at face value, only not turning out the way they were told. Hope I’m wrong, but the whole scale changes that are going to transform the club, are looking very unlikely.
  4. Philips has his first pro contract kicking in soon, so hopefully we can let him prosper in the first team and benefit from that, rather than him going off to a premier league club now to cut his teeth.
  5. Glad you left him in piece and not in peace. You are an S away from being the hardest poster on this forum. Good job I wasn’t there to hit him over the head with his stale bread cake and leave him in pieces too, not to mention, chips in his teeth. 😂
  6. I can’t really be misguided, as I haven’t stated whether I agree or disagree with the actual event. I am pretty neutral about it to be honest. My comment was referring to the feedback (negative and positive) in the daily mail and how people of importance were unlikely to have read it.
  7. It is highly unlikely that anyone of importance will have read the comments, so no need to worry too much about it. Like anything, there will always be a minority who will try to paint a negative picture on everything and vice versa.
  8. Putting the rivalry to one side for a second, it is criminal that this should be allowed. Even allowing for the fact that this is our local rivals, it still makes me angry. We were victims too and are still in a terrible situation, due to the powers that be allowing this sort of thing to happen. Football has sold it's soul, as we are sure to see the next club go down the same path in the not too distant future. We have the likes of Bassini and Ken Anderson taking on clubs, despite their previous issues that the powers that be are aware of, so this sort of thing, is simply attracting the chancers and hangers on waiting in the wings, ready to pounce.

  10. A bad start next season and I think the fans will turn. I can hear the taunts of USA already, when derby day arrives.
  11. Their owners are beginning to make the Chicken farmers look good.
  12. One red and one down to any injury. City 3-2 up
  13. The stem of the word rect is very appropriate as the owners certainly shoved it up it.
  14. if they have, the sifting will sort them out, as they will be far too expensive. Coyle mark 2 is probably earmarked in India, just in case the Billy Smarts circus act has forgotten how to deliver the purest comedy around.
  15. Cheap to keep the narrative of cost cutting in place and good enough to appease the fans, will take some serious sifting.
  16. Matt Maddon made the call to Baiaji. I heard it shortly after he did it. Granted it was funny, but shows that what you are saying is spot on.
  17. Interview the most exciting people around. Offer the stand out candidate the job. Go to HQ in India, to have it signed and sealed, only to be told that they had a cheapskate lined up all along. He is then installed and the cycle repeats itself.
