  1. Looks like Rudy shares the wife’s birthday, oh and her twin sisters too. This one has draw written all over it 1-1.
  2. I read that a while ago and my thoughts on it are, that the two big shareholders, have stuffed the club big time. I think relegation is coming and see a mass sale of players, when that happens. As for the salt and chips comment, he has a point, but just the one.
  3. Perhaps Waggot will spout this important information tonight on his radio interview. Probably be justifying the cost of the beer, chips and pies though.
  4. People simply are not stupid, but Waggot thinks Rovers fans are. The totally ridiculous match day prices, are clearly putting people off, as did the cost of the season tickets. Add to that, the fact that no one came out to even mention the managers failings, after another death spiral last year. The owners are simply neglecting the club and as I have posted before, whils they are here, the club is in serious trouble. Until they sell and someone comes in who cares, this downward trajectory will continue. Where it will end, who knows, but over 10,000 fans have had enough and the numbers now attending, hammer this home.
  5. After 24 hours to reflect on the result, I go back to the best form of defense is attack. If we had come out for the second half, with the mentality that it was 0-0 gone for the jugular, we would have won the game. Its down to the manager to ensure the attitude is right, so come what may, that’s the reason we didn’t kill the game off. Luton were second best and we simply gave them the impetus to peg us back. O could probably stomach it, but know that lessons won’t be learnt and we will go on to do it again, in the near future.
  6. He did and wants to go again.
  7. Took me seven year old Grandson to his first ever game, so we had three generations of Rovers fans at the match. I thought the first 20 mins were poor, but the two goals livened things up and at half time, it felt comfortable. it was clear that the third goal was going to be crucial and we did look like me might get it. Once they scored it felt inevitable that we would throw at least two points away. I thought the ref getting injured helped them not us and sure enough the dreaded equaliser came. I thought both defences were poor and also very nervous. Dolan was quite rightly man of the match and despite his pace, I think we have a good footballer in Pickering.
  8. The first game ever for my Grandson today. He is aged 7 and been brainwashed by me. Hope we can get a win for him.
  9. It’s great to know you are back on the Trust Duncan. It needs someone like you to really make a difference and it feels like, this could now start to make a difference. The owners have been getting away with killing the club for far too long and it is about time, the gloves came off and there were involved in a real fight.
  10. Their goal was as bad in terms of defending as I have ever seen. How can a player be left as free as that from a pass out of their defence, straight through the middle. It would be an insult to school boys to say it was school boy defending
  11. Cardiff fans didn’t rate Gestede and neither did Villa after we sold him to them. Let’s see how he goes, as a club can be a perfect fit, for certain players, as we have seen before.
  12. I enjoyed the preview, so thanks Mike. This fixture, always brings to mind that our club legend Simon Garner had a spell with them and of course scored at Turf Moor. Its probably one of our toughest games this season and after our start, if we can remain unbeaten, I will be highly delighted.
  13. I never in my wildest dreams, thought that my home town team, who I have followed from our old Third Division days, as a schoolboy, would ever be champions of England in my lifetime. From the day I first set foot on Ewood Park, I fell in love with the club. I never met Jack, but he was one of our own and brought the wildest of dreams into a reality for many Rovers fans. Rip big man, Rovers number one fan.
  14. I dread to think what I am if you are old at 25.
  15. I’ve got it and I’m in Spain
  16. Showing on I follow that the match is delayed
  17. This is a good watch, for those who have an hour to spare. Although it doesn’t provide an answer to what happens with every takeover, it is very thought provoking and creates some serious issues about football governance. Watch it and weep. https://mobile.twitter.com/KieranMaguire/status/1425354122564448261
  18. Perhaps we have been badly advised.
  19. I get the impression that the lows under Venky’s keep on getting worse. Either they go very soon, or we are going to be in dire trouble. To remind everyone of one of his first comments when appointed as manager, Mowbray said, “This is Blackburn Rovers.
  20. Goals being shown on Sky sports news, for those wanting to see them.
  21. There will be, but I think posting the information on here, causes issues for the likes of Josh and his colleagues. Twitter or Google, is the place to look.
  22. I think he is a total waste of money and would love to see him off ASAP.
  23. Maybe running on empty after an hour, but that’s down to it being early season, but tells you also, he is full on enthusiasm. Fingers crossed he comes good this season.
  24. No bitterness towards Armstrong. Good business for the club and could keep us free from the jaws of FFP for the time being. Hope he goes on to do well. He has a chance and will need a bit of luck, but could do a job in the prem.
