I don’t understand that either, a contract only has to say what conditions it has, not those that it doesn’t.
The club said what would happen if we were promoted, allegedly they asked what would happen if we were relegated - why not ask what would happen if neither was to happen as well??
Or if O’Brien called Broughton a twit and got sacked? All hypothetical. My finger hovered over the A when I wrote twit.

Boobies!
Don't be a blue bird variety and a great one too. Especially if there are a pair of them as they sound worse in the plural.

Not such a fruitful night of PR. Waggott has freely exposed what a charlatan he is to 99.9% of the fan base, and the rest of football.
Let's make sure the backlash is a severe one.

As others have said , I’m sure we could have used someone else on a night where you know, we are busy trying to get deals over the line. My priority on Tuesday wasn’t on the game it was watching the transfer window so his should’ve been too. Not really arsed about fighting it out for the honour of getting pumped off Leicester. Priority should be staying in the playoffs and giving us a chance
Getting pumped off Leicester makes the club over £300k and making sure the O'Brien deal doesn't happen saves £65k per week, so a fruitful night all round for someone. If you call it 20 weeks wages plus the cup time money I reckon around £1.6 million better off than we otherwise would be.
If your only priority is the immediate bottom line a good nights work, for the man with an extremely busy in box.

That information came from Paul Lambert himself, him walking actually had a negative impact on his career, but the money promised to rebuild the club during the interview process was a fib, that is why he resigned.
All to familiar under these owners I'm afraid..
The money to pay O'Brien could also be a fib. Perhaps the man targeted with balancing the books and setting the season ticket prices, knew his bonus was up the tubes, it it did really happen, so made sure something was amiss. It has happened before under these owners with Agnew and Shaw, hiding things, so would not be a huge leap of faith.

Just in case there needs to be any clarification, or for anyone getting bounce backs, use this.

He said on season tickets, he sets a financial income target to those in commercial tasked with the pricing.
He does not care how the target is hit, be that £100 for a season ticket and 30000 sales, or the price we have now. Its purely ensuring the revenue is hit.
If we had done them half the price and sold twice what we have, he'd be happy with that, as the revenue forecast has been hit.
So basically based on above the commercial/marketing team have took the safe route of we may sell 9000 so divide that forecast by 9000 and thats the price, making their own job easier than trying to entice fans back and fail the forecast.
Lazy thinking if you ask me
Maybe this latest escapade will mean even less will buy next season, so dividing his figure by 5,000 may not be as easy.
The opportunity is here now, if enough season ticket holder insist on a proper explanation, or vote with their fee.
His E Mail address is out there now, so pass it on as you see fit and let's nail him.

When was the last time a fan protest resulted in a change in ownership?
Just look at Man U - despite vigorous protesting they ended up creating a new club because the Glazer's have the kind of wealth that makes you untouchable - like apparently the Rao family does.
I've no idea why the Venkys continue to own us, but we're powerless to stop it.
Blackpool.
My one vote will not change the outcome of the next general election, but mine along with everyone else's will.

??????…where have you been all these years ?
Its not “ the deal “ it’s the headline / flashing light / siren that says“ We are a dysfunctional club “…..look at the bigger picture man …
Exactly this and even if he had been the biggest flop in our history, the fact that the can balls it up so much is the biggest worry.
I know if would never have happened, but imagine if the had made a pigs ear of the Shearer signing. A whole different history of our club, may well have ensued.

It struck me as I pondered this morning, that, if it wasn't for the announcement that he had "signed" that none of us would have ever known about this and the club would have simply covered it up. This got me thinking about how many other huge mistakes have been made that have never come to light?
Looking back, when the Coyle appointment was announced, who knew that Warnock had already been promised the job, until the Warnock himself, made his statement, along the lines of one club does not know what they are doing. That in turn brought about other things about it being brought into the open about it and as history has now shown us, Warnock got the team he did joined promoted and Coyle, helped us towards relegation.
Perhaps the owners are still being badly advised, but here is some free good advice. Send someone competent in and make sure you rid yourselves of every single chancer and hanger on, especially those that still seem to be there, from the very start of your tenure.

That's a great email.
It's a shame it will be totally ignored.
Let’s make sure it isn’t ignored. If everyone on here pastes it and also sends it to Waggott stating they will be sending again, every 49 hours, until an answer is received, he will see it as an uprising.
Maybe even post it on the LT website and let our new found friend Nicko have a copy.
Great E Mail BTW.

I think It's time for another protest gav but how many have the balls for it unlike last time
It’s set up nicely for a protest, as the next game is on Sky. Maybe some sort of fan lead protest, such as everyone wearing bright orange or empty the ground at 40 mins, by all heading my for the concourse. Sky being told what it’s all about, so that the commentary team announce I and shame the culprits

I wonder if we will be subject to repercussions from Forest if it’s proved that it’s all our fault (as expected). Will they be able to claim his wages from us while he can’t play for them?
What about the £10m too, as they might argue he would have ensured we were promoted.
Who know where this will end.

Maybe those fans think we deserve a better run club.
Every fan who has spent their hard earned on a season ticket and every fan who has paid to watch the team, deserve a lot better than what we have seen this window.
It is a total insult to every single supporter to have such shambolic people in charge.
Every one of them, should be placed on notice as it is simply not good enough and they have simply turned the club into nothing but a laughing stock.

No wonder we are losing players for free.
The people at the club appear to be incompetent in the extreme.
Hope none are at the brewery right not, organising a party.

I know you aren't entirely serious, but even so he would have had to be released before the deadline in order for us to sign him.
I'm not being entirely serious, but do think releasing him now and making him a free agent (unemployed) would actually work.
-
Release O'Brien, make him a free agent and we then sign him. If we do get promoted, Forest sue us for £10m for negligence and we roll over and pay them, acknowledging that they were correct about that.

Ian Sylvestor is responsible for player registrations, he was also responsible for the "fax machine fiasco"
Sylvestor strangely enough brought in during the Anderson regime continues to go under the Radar and on numerous occassions peddled the line "i just do as im told".
Lets take a look at his roll of honour.
1. Applied for work permits for staff, covered up the fact that Shaw hid the said permits, which left us running with a skeleton medical crew for 3 months. (Have evidence and testimony to support)
2. Was explicit in the Formica fake passport/paperwork deal. (Have evidence, emails and testimony to support)
3. Leaked transfer information to 3rd party agents and player contract information of existing players. 'Have emails, text and testimony to support"
4. Threatened a shareholder that the club would recind his shareholding if he transfered ownership of the said shares to a supporter group. These threats in which i have all the letters are incredible reading.
Sylvestor is in a unique position that he can stop any transfer, if the agenda dont suit.
He was placed in the club by SEM (strange he is still there and holds significant influence on things like transfer deadline day)
I guess SEM never really totally disappeared then, which means someone from th very dark days, could still have an influence at the club. Assuming he still deals with the people who ran that organization, us fans need to be very afraid.

There's an arrogant disdain for the fanbase that flows from the corridors of power at Ewood.
Sad to see.
As we all know, the old adage was what is a club without the fans. Without sounding too dramatic most clubs don't see to give two shits any more, so long as they get their TV money and a bit pumped in from the commercial activities.

Im in Sweden and have never had a problem with the bbc sports and live text match page up until tonight. Obviously, being abroad I know I cannot listen to the live match commentary via the BBC including radio Lancs. I accept it.
Rather strangely though, I was able to watch the whole game via a live stream v Brum on Saturday without any problem.
Maybe the FA have done something I don't know... But I could have watched the barcodes v Southampton tonight using the same stream but wasn't interested.
Im not going to post the name of the service I used but if some bms remember last seasons away game at Cardiff I think.... Rovers TV really fucked up and nobody who paid for the service received the game to view. Someone posted a streaming service on that thread which I still use unless it's on rovers tv. Bit hit and miss but better than nowt.
Maybe the post is still there, maybe deleted.
Anyone needs to know drop me a pm with your email address and I'll happily share.
I got the radio Lancashire commentary and I live in Spain. I do have a VPN though, so worth having that for these situations

Greggs a sandwich short of a picnic, not announcing anything. In fact a complete donut. He couldn’t give you the area of a circle even using Pie R squared. Hope he redeems himself and comes out with some really tasty deal, otherwise it’s chocolate fireguard time.

No surprise there. I would be furious if I was him. I really can’t see him staying on and will be very surprised if he doesn’t walk, once the play off chance has disappeared.
