  1. He's gone back to Switzerland. It was a medical issue. It could be off, it could be renogtiated. Splinters everywhere.
  2. That might depend on your definition of working.
  3. Maybe Sonny can put a word in. Contract situation aside.
  4. To be fair, the club said they wanted a centre back and had offered Batth a contract at that time. My assumption was that if Batth didn't renew, we would want a replacement for him as well as another centre back. However the club have now said they aren't going to replace Batth.
  5. Yeah I've definitely seen Toth on some of the social media posts from the club.
  6. I vote for an narrator with expert knowledge on what is going on. David Brent perhaps?
  7. I have imagined what one of those behind the scenes documentaries would be like down at Ewood and Brockhall. Sub genre - cringeworthy comedy.
  8. Oh we were so close to agreeing a contract extension. We definitely can't now Middlesbrough are interested...
  9. That's the key for me. Once we lose Travis or Tronstad out the first 11, it shows massively.
  10. Granted it's only one YouTube video. But just looking at the lad, he is one big strong unit.
  11. The jist is, we are interested, but other clubs are too.
  12. I've been told they're tiles at the entrance of Blackburn Museum.
  13. I see this mentioned semi regularly and although I agree with the premise, there are 2 problems in the pipeline. 1. We will replace players who leave with inferior players. I don't necessarily mean by design, more that the law of averages state if we don't increase transfer spend, we will replace with inferior players. 2. If we have to keep replacing 3 or 4 of our best players every calendar year, then we aren't really building are we? At best we're rebuilding the sandcastle that a wave has just knocked down - knowing another wave will soon turn up.
  14. But how do you know we didn't offer him a good contract? He's closer to his family if he moves near Derby. He wanted to work with Eustace again. Sorry, I seem to have jumped the gun defending the club.
