Mowbray bought him then waited half a season for him. Some player this guy must be if we're not only paying a fee to Crewe but allowing them to keep him, when we're so desperate for defenders, so I thought 🤦‍♂️

Regarding that: what has happened to O’Riordan?

I’d like to consider myself quite fair and reasonable. Maybe it because I really liked JDT , maybe my heads just fell off after years of this BS but I’m just not having JE.  The day he was appointed I never got the vibes he was the right man for us and however many games in he hasn’t showed anything to prove me wrong . Being fair he he hasn’t had a pre season, his players etc etc but some people fit certain clubs and from day one he never fit this one

and that’s coming from someone who believes no one will make this shit show any better . JDT Reallt was working miracles with this squad

Outstanding performance yesterday - proud of the players.

I wonder if the Brum owners watched a match, read his comments the day after and realized he was totally full of shit regardless of results.

Our owners meanwhile don’t watch, Waggot and the Shadow say all is good and the players are happy cos they all get a pat on the head and a lollipop.

Total twat which would be fine if he got the occasional result or accidentally told the truth once in a while but it really does feel like his comments are aimed at people that didn’t actually see the games

And yes I liked JDT but this guy is now taking the piss along with our fabled senior players including Scott Wharton

Even more bizarre to then have 2 of those players in a meeting with the fans and them going along with it.

Cynical as I am that really does suggest said players have been given something in exchange - more control/input/power in relation to the head coach instantly springs to mind…

Finally the newspaper headline we have all been gagging for:(what could go wrong?

Bad owners could be forced to sell clubs by new English football regulator

Is this actually new? RA was forced to sell Chelsea - it all comes down to how an owner is judged to be bad and by whom.

Think this might end up being en embarrassing PR exercise for the government - not least if FIFA/UEFA start talking “free from government interference”…

I think 2 wins does it for us on 48 points.

There are only 8 games left. 2 wins for us means 2 of Wednesday, Birmingham and Huddersfield need 10+ points thanks to our GD, so they can only lose 4 max out of their 8.
It’ll be difficult for 2 of them to perform to that level and also QPR, Stoke, Plymouth all picking up more than us.

Beat Sheffield Wednesday + 1 other and we’ll be safe, preferably sooner rather than later.

I honestly think we will lose the Sheffield Wed game and end up going down by 1 point

I always think that about Gallagher. You see him making these runs and then throwing his arms up in disgust because the ball didn't come. It would be a 'world cup' ball to hit him in stride - I don't know why he thinks his teammates have that in their locker.

Makes you wonder what they do in training or de we have a bunch of players that are “playground champions “ 🤔

  7. Think Tronstedt being back meant the back 4 were somewhat protected - with Ayari and Buckley as a pair then a third cb is probably a must.
We were fortunate at the end - JE seems to have had that bit of luck that deserted us for a while. Much better play when we actually decided to pass it around after the break.

  8. Anyone ever managed to get an answer from customer support at StreamAMG or am I going to have block my card to prevent monthly auto-renewals?

Cannot find anything in my profile/account to cancel as I signed for 1 month …

I see ‘where you are coming from’ to use an awful phrase. He has to try and keep up morale and so on. However, the interview comments after the Plymouth game were wishy washy drivel that any PR guru would have been proud of. He didn’t have to say ‘it was crap and we were totally outplayed for 80 minutes’ but he could have been more realistic and injected a note of urgency rather than bland clichés, as well as take the bland smile off his face.

You could argue that as he is SWAG’s appointment, he is, de facto useless. But at the moment, I would side with those that say it is a little early to tell, despite signs not being good.

He isn’t helped by seemingly being unable to “read the room”. Anyone coming in after JDT needed to somewhat honest in appraisals of games when speaking to the public.

Feels more like the words are to keep the players happy and onboard - can imagine donuts and table tennis are back in vogue. That is the impression I get and it grates

no manager could ever be worse than kean, however eustace does remind me of ince,in that he shouts a lot but is clueless about changing tactics during the game,he only went for a back five when mcfadzean was sent off, plymouth were running riot all game with our high line being exposed

Wonder just how much he has to listen to our senior players to keep them onboard…

  11. Yesterday we started on the front foot - we tried to play a higher defensive line and it worked for about 15 minutes.

Leading 1-0 and having “got away with a few scares” it needed a plan b. Not sure we had one or if the players are just incapable.

The only thing he got right was taking Buckley off instead of Hyari.

A final note: Wahlstedt made a decent save in the goal incident - unlucky that the rebounds fell where they did.
