Good half time talk - “guys, remember the guy you wanted gone? Do what wanted but badly so that we play route 1 for the next few” 🤣

I know it's all positivity and get behind the boys but Gallys touch is horrendous, how it doesn't wind him up is beyond me. It's like being a dyslexic professional proof reader.

i give eustace till the summer transfer window, when he comes into pre season training and finds out that his best players are to be sold then he`ll turn and run quicker than the tide at arnside😁
You missed a step - the players will be sold with his agreement based on an an understanding that he can reinvest the money to improve the squad…
When the “hand grenade” is chucked in with 5 days of the window left then maybe he will run… (unless, like JDT, they demand payment to release him from his contract

"Many believe the departure of Jon Dahl Tomasson last week was down to a lack of funds at Blackburn as owners Venkys tighten the purse strings.
A more stringent approach is certainly taking place. Rovers' scouts have found themselves questioned by bean counters after choosing to use the M6 Toll (at a cost of £8.90) to get to games.
And parking charges have been queried when scouts have not been provided with spaces at certain away grounds."
I'm all for a good conspiracy theory, but are we really querying parking fees? Would be fairly crazy that for a multi million business. Smells a bit like BS.
At a club that closed the ticket office on a match day and tried to force fans to print their tickets and mascots to buy their own shirts…?
Sounds about right- 6

Semir and Leo won’t be on anywhere near £10k. Leo was always coming in as backup to Pears and Telalovic will be lucky to be on a couple of grand and some magic beans.
If we had a budget then I think we could replace Gally and Dolan for similar or better, but if they go in the next 18months it will be a freebies or someone else’s kids coming in.
I would say “shoulda’t be” as opposed to “aren’t” as we still have a wage bill that defies logic and seemingly crap negotiators…
Anything less than TK is a “reduction in the wage bill” - same goes in regard to replacements for BB and BD. That they may be crap seems to be less relevant to their wage level…
I really would like to know who negotiates the numbers - I have a bridge for sale…
-
Problem now is that if Samir T and Leo W are on 10 grand a week then Dolan, Gally and SS will demand at least 20…

Tomasson wasnt doing anything wrong in sticking to the passing out from the back and sticking to his principles. Thats how we should be playing, apparently. Yet a few days later, the new totally different style suited us (not hoofball, although the third yesterday is as much hoofball as youll ever find) and the subs made much more sense.
The king is dead, long live the king.
The main thing for me was that we mixed it up a bit but having Gallagher meant we had a target from goal kicks (going long to SS, Leonard and Moran is a tough sell).
Most notable was both Pears and the defenders were also more willing to clear and sacrifice possession when needed.
Probably something that our central defenders have been unhappy with previously when seemingly instructed to always prioritize possession no matter what- 3

If we offering league one level wages then no way he will sign. He has become a very important player and will likely want to be among our top earners - can see him leaving unfortunately.

As I said earlier, don't think we get those 3 points today without the managerial change.
Vital win. Now let's shove Mowbray closer to the drop on Tuesday(?) then we can breathe a bit easier.
One of those - I wonder if Pears saves that penalty if JDT is still in charge…
Change was needed and if Eustace gets a few favorable bounces then all good. Liked the subs (defensive but fresh legs up front) and Moran/Siggy to just run down the clock

He only needed to kick it. He seemed to be waiting for the perfect moment but there are no perfect moments in football.
Tells me he doesn't have a strikers instinct.
Needs to forget about the crowd - can do it for U21 team and has the instinct to be in the right place. Hope he can find a way

That's the strongest our Starting XI and bench has looked for months.
Fuck off tho, JDT, yeah?
No game changers and the only defender is totally untested at this level - says a lot about how bad it has been that this is stronger 🫣

“This football club has some fantastic young players, the recruitment has been very good, the coaching has been excellent and it’s my job to try and evolve that and put my own stamp on it, which is something I’m looking forward to doing.”
So recruitment and coaching have been very good - has he only seen the academy and u-21s so far… 🤔

No quotes from Gregg on the official website welcoming him suggests to me it was somebody else.
I'm sure we had plenty of Greg quote's when JDT was announced
Sort of how I remember it and makes me a little concerned that GB is either on his way or been told to fall in line with Waggott regaining total control
-
Any clues as to if it has been GB or someone else that has recruited Eustace?

Sky have just confirmed that Tomasson has officially left the club.
Have the club told him or will he find out on here? 🫢🫣

Would it say if something wasn’t done/complete without having to actually ‘delve deeper’?
Depends on the system - most systems give a warning (pretty much like outlook and windows) that “this process was started but not finished” or “you have a draft - do you want tosend it before exiting” (or words to that effect)
Many don’t flag until being shut down but that would most likely mean that IS or SW were still logged in
In short: total bollox imo

What made them check at 11:04??
Innocent explanation: that is when it was time to shut down the system and when it flagged that something wasn’t done/complete
Not so innocent explanation: just in time to say “well we can appeal like last year”

Yep, following up on my similar comments to yours. His signings probably make for a sackable offence alone.
Leo for half a million is probably the worst of them. Number one target and definitely a vampire keeper.
I can see no value in keeping him based on what he’s delivered. I would think JDT could have picked up some better players through his contacts.
Who is negotiating the deals? Understood from from GlenM that it wasn’t GB?
