JDT to Eustace is a downgrade. ‘Happy’ with the appointment purely because it isn’t Stuart McCall. Every day shows show far we’ve fallen. We all know Benson and Lowe will remain.
I’m happy it won’t be David Dunn - that’s how far my expectations have fallen 🫣

The fact it has to be sanctioned by Venky’s is laughable, they’re on such an ego trip all the time, it’s always about control
The biggest question for me is if this is a GB appointment or if SW is back in control

Sounds like the senior players think differently and want a scrap and they will likely have a big say in approach if and when a new man is appointed
Our senior players want a scrap ? About the funniest thing I’ve ever heard … (JRC excepted and Dolan to a point)

My money is on David Dunn if GB is being overruled/replaced/demoted/put in his place…

I f he has to stay , we are going to have to play a different system , no good playing out from the back .
The players are not good enough to play it (the ball is like a red hot potato to our defenders)
Best finish since relegation playing that way and comfortably top 10 this season until injuries /cutbacks caught up with us

The fact that they are the ‘leadership group’ sums up the state the squad has been allowed to get in to.
This may be the group most opposed to JDT tactics and training demands. If they have been complaining/communicating with SW then it would be difficult for them to say no to this idiotic meeting.
This is pure speculation but with the recent rumblings of discontent in the dressing room it would make sense

Players could argue they weren't given "reasonable notice".
Is a player revolt against Waggott the best hope?
Managers come and go - the contract is with the club so not bloody likely when SW is Suhails bitch…

Apparently Waggot and ‘the Rovers PR guy’ were in the room.
We have a PR guy 😲😲😲
He’s shitter at his job than Chris Brown was.

Makes you wish Hyam could spend 5 minutes in a dressing room with Andy Todd.
I'm hoping the new old lad Mcfazdean or whatever his name is may be a bit more old fashioned in his approach.
He’ll be sent for sensitivity training 👍

That they managed to organize a meeting, use phones or email to invite people and arrange the chairs in some form of formation is actually quite impressive based on previous events…
That Hyam didn’t “lose his chair” during the meeting is a positive sign prior Stoke

I assume if was about Tomasson and his impending departure. You can understand why it should not be revealed on here
In short: we are in this together except Jon - he’s a cunt whilst we are on the fans side…

So basically the meeting was called so 5 senior players could say to a number of fans who have no real clout over the fan base “stop booing when we are shit, we don’t like it.
The meeting was called to isolate JDT further as a few too many fans were understanding what he was saying.
@J*B Did JDTS name come up at all during the meeting?

Gary Bowyer would not surprise me at this juncture with the bs about “finding a long term appointment in the summer”
Probably 2 days before the transfer window shuts

Will it be a head coach under GB with Lowe, Johnson and Benson as coaches…?

“The Dane has told his players his time at Ewood Park is coming to an end and meetings were taking place on Wednesday. The future of club secretary Ian Silvester is also in doubt.”
Possibly one of the players has leaked it?
Player’s agent would be my guess

Any source other than Hope confirming this?

One question people want answers on I think is key, when you submit I presume there is some force feedback, an email confirmation, anything.
I know if I book a flight or buy tickets I’m not content until I see the confirmation land.
Does this happen, if so surely we would be checking it?
I work with a few different systems and it scares me just how piss poor some of them are. One in particular confirms a booking/registration but you still have to click confirm before exiting.
No warning or anything and in the system the booking/registration is visible for 15 minutes before being deleted (again without notification)
Not saying that this is the case here but there are some truly appalling IT solutions out there. That said: the most important transfer of the window - I would be triple checking as the sender and pushing for confirmation from the EFL non-stop until it arrived

Whilst that sounds plausible I just don’t seem JDT accepting being sacked and then reinstated. He’s too professional to hang about with that carry on and also he doesn’t stand to gain by staying if given his marching orders. We’re an absolute shit show and he’s managing with both hands tied behind his back (albeit he’s not doing himself any favours with tactics, formations and team Selection at the moment)
If the person sacking lacks the authority to do so then technically he was never sacked. Probably why he was so pissed off after thinking he was free of the madhouse 🫢😉🫣

A question that may need to be asked is was GB informed “no permanent signings” or “no signings involving a fee as of now”?
I would guess the latter but then Ennis being sold created a situation and the most relevant question is if GB was told this money could be used. Who told him this and did they have the authority? If not then conspiracy theory number 1 comes into play with someone sabotaging the process to protect themselves…. Logically it would be SW

Surprised you're still on here after faithfully assuring everyone Saturday lunchtime there'd been a hitch but that he would still be registered as a Blackburn Rovers player.
Why do you pretend to be ITK? You just make yourself look silly.
Being fair Tommy also posted that some papers weren’t sent in on time (a lengthy discussion about fax machines ensued) so maybe not totally out of the loop 😉
