Where's the talk that Gb has gone come from?
Speculation on here. Seems like it have been inaccurate

JDT to be named manager instead on a new contract with more responsibility for recruitment would be a very Venky’s move if GB has gone

Gregg has apparently gone, refused to take the blame for it this time.
Also explains why JDT was blocked and Said Ask Steve and Suhail

Why on earth would he touch us with a bargepole?
A tenfold payrise and gateway into football instead of soccer 😁

I’ve no idea about that but I do know it was well known inside the club towards the end of last season that the wage bill had to be cut, and the higher ups wanted to sell the silver. I’ve no idea about the coaches, but the players were not happy about it given they’d had a decent season and everyone had bought into the project.
I assume that had the biggest impact on the morale of the team.
Ok lads - well done on 7th (thank fuck you didn’t make the playoffs). We actually thought you are shitter than this hence all the bonus clauses in contracts - we never thought you’d trigger them so well done but don’t do it again

It was telling none of them were used off the bench yesterday, that was clearly a message from the manager to those above him.
It was also telling that they were ALL on the bench in the first place - someone (Suhail) is pulling rank imo

Would we prefer:
Disillusioned manager lobbing handgrenades at the owners/management who gets us relegated?
Or
New manager, tows the party line, buys into our current situation and keeps us up?
Buys into our current situation? Could someone tell me what that it is because we are definitely no longer a football club

Is JDT becoming the convenient fall guy for another relegation that some running the club would be quite comfortable with ?
Could literally fill the squad with academy kids and loans then and the wage bill would be rock bottom, Riverside shut, training ground let go. Reduction in income but massive reduction in running costs and easier to produce and punt on young players for champ clubs.
Not exactly saying it's pre planned but that it might not be a huge concern because some ie Waggot and that clown in the shadows might have a plan for.
Food for thought.
I think relegation is not desirable even for the morons - simple reason being that we would no longer be attractive for freebie loans and our own academy graduates would be less likely to command big fees.
There is no logical joined up thinking in how this lot operate but it does seem developing young players (our own and PL clubs) is the current vogue.
Don’t know if that means it is the bint, the fat greaseball or the Tasche that won the last game of cards and decided this would be our policy for the moment

Watched the post match presser. So weird
Surely if JDT has any self respect he'll quit? Alternative is he just hangs around waiting for a pay off which is a bad look for his career.
I suspect he is not an employee - more a party to a contract that can only be ended with mutual agreement or some form of financial compensation. Technically he could be prevented from taking a new job, not be paid, fined and dragged through the courts if he “quit” depending on how the contract is worded

It will be tomorrow's won't it? Don't the league have some kind of rule about managers having to talk to the press in the pre match conference or something?
I think our (future) caretaker manager/coach may step in for tomorrow’s presser..

I bet we are paying the loan fee in installments as well …

I wonder if the plan (if they have one) is to be competitive until the summer then use the Wharton money to improve the squad in a window which is easier to get players I.e good frees but offer increased wages etc
I think the plan is to stay afloat and hope like hell that there are always 3 worse teams than us in the championship

I expect us to switch to 5 at the back for the rest of the season - simply aim for survival and find out just how fucked the Vs are in summer.
As of now it seems that the flow of money may not resume…Strangely nothing to indicate a sale of the club which is frankly unfathomable and really does point to skeletons or sheer bloody mindedness
-
Assuming the negotiations were about structuring the payment not the amount. In short we need minimum 50% now to keep us afloat…

Sigurdsson playing LB or?

He played well against Sparta U21s, probably one of our best players. Looked shaky against hudds in the league yea but we’re playing Wrexham here…
Probably a question of physicality - imagine it came down to who could handle it better

I guess it makes sense. We obviously have a price in mind that we would sell at, they don't want to risk him.
Same goes for Ennis I guess 😁🤔

Chrisene is a LB isn’t he? Why the hell isn’t he playing? Bizarre.
Has he shown anything to suggest he should be starting? (I agree with you but genuine question based on u21 games)

He lost the duel with Helik but it was a good header and a difficult player to mark. I just think his presence alone and the way he works the defenders is different to anyone else we have in the squad except maybe Dolan, funnily enough.
I agree with everything you posted though, but at this current time I still think he offers our team a lot more than HL unfortunately.
If all he does between now and the summer is make us slightly harder to play against and help the defence then it will be worth keeping him as we aren’t far away from being dragged into the relegation battle
That said 2m could pay for 2 decent defenders to much the same effect but I think Ipswich have moved on…
-
If it goes through then expect a Gallagher header against us (assuming Travis is prevented from playing otherwise it would be from his cross…) 🫣😉

I am certain JDT is 100% in the picture about what Broughton and his team are working on.
If JDT is feeling excited, I am allowing myself a little twinge.
If JDT is genuinely excited and in the loop then i feel the start of a chubby…

Now the big clubs gets in to it as Palace mess with fees... Spurs, Newcastle and Chelsea all seems to want Wharton.
Applying the 3 club rule makes me wonder if any of them are actively seeking to sign him at all… 😉
Honestly think it is too early for the big clubs - more is demanded off the ball and I think we may end up keeping Adam as I don’t see 25m coming from anyone as it is now (unpopular opinion maybe)
