Yeah I’m not saying behind closed doors he won’t be pissed off because I’m sure he is really, he’s desperate for signings but doesn’t have much of a say in them at the same time is my take on it.

He’s also repeatedly pretty much said he has no involvement in signings and that they’re down to GB and the recruitment team.

Remember when Doncaster did us over at Ewood in the FA Cup, he ran the show that day. That’s the only time I’ve seen him, he did well for Donny that season. Then he had a big injury and was out for a while before finishing last season on loan at Birmingham. Not sure how he did there.

From what I’ve read it’s very close to being done. Making some good signings the dingles, they are assembling a squad that should make the top six at least.

I just think it’s a case of fans liking the new manager and wanting to see him backed and given the best chance to succeed, being the only club in the league not to make a signing yet is shoddy when you consider we definitely need at least 5 or 6 signings. I don’t think so, he’s back involved with them in pre season so far and has been playing well by all accounts. I think he’ll stick around at Norwich.

Good run out for the lads. Gally MOTM for us, Dolan did well and Diaz took his goal really well. Pickering needs replacing I’ve thought as much for a while and today confirmed it for me. Carter obviously not a right back but think he’ll be okay to step in at centre half when needed.

I’d be making a Centre half, a left back and a right back an absolute priority over anything. Pickering is miles away from being good enough, I’ve thought this since the second half of last season. The lad has no pace whatsoever, he needs replacing.

He’d have been a good signing regardless. I do admire how you always seem to look on the bright side though Rigger even though there’s nothing to be excited about currently.
