  1. The new hotel will be a tent pitch, show your support pay 50 quid to pitch a tent up on match day. Get your photo on our camping wall for another 200 quid
  2. I would hope you are right Chris but i won't hold my breath until something happens
  3. looking at the certain agency we seem to prefer using, we can pick from managerial luminaries like Paul Jewell and Mickey Mellon
  4. So Stoke City then? that'll see them dossing in mid table for a few more years
  5. Depends if they get back to gigg lane as an entity linked to the original club and not AFC bury, the bottom tier has ticket maximum price of 7 quid, I used to enjoy going 7/8 times a season before they got kicked out of the league ( when rovers were away ). So i am not sure is the honest answer suspect i'll take a few games in and see if it re ignites any passion for watching football.
  6. From a personal perspective, i have a season ticket as do my two kids, neither really want to go they are 3 and 6, and only go because i want to go. I haven't been since Huddersfield at home, due to games being moved we don't live that locally to Blackburn anymore so midweek games are out. I've lost all enthusiasm for going so its unlikely i will renew or next for me or the kids. Its not even Mowbray its the completely soulless experience with crap prices for food and merchandise. Since i haven't been i haven't missed going at all, i find myself detached from the club and goings on. I think its my subconscious preparing myself for another shambolic summer and another HSH scrap heap manager coming in, Tony Pulis's blue and white army...............
  7. Yeah they really did great business with Cairney, oh and the three we are losing this summer. Let’s look at the great business sense with Brereton going into his last 12 months. Great business sense rovers and venkys don’t belong in the same sentence.
  8. Really he was absolutely awful at Cardiff and underachieved at united no thanks
  9. I was brought up in Bury but out in the countryside, i've moved around a bit and i live in Trafford now both my kids are mancunions! but know they are from Lancashire. I think it depends on where you live, i'd say Bolton, Wigan, Bury, Rochdale see themselves as Lancashire. Not so sure about Stockport, Altrincham definitely still say Cheshire. Manchester is a fantastic city nothing wrong with feeling an affinity to it
  10. Yeah i think it moves to what is replacing middleton as thats going into a new ward for Blackley, i think it'll be under heywood or something
  11. Bolton is in Lancashire as in Wigan, Bury, Oldham, Manchester etc, Lancashire isn't defined by the county council boundary, if it was Blackburn with Darwen wouldn't come under it as BWD is a unitary authority. Greater Manchester is an admin area not a land county. The act in 1974 made it clear this was the case and that the county palatine of Lancashire existed over the top of this as the historic county still exists. This has been confirmed numerous times over the years by different governments
  12. go on then give us some examples of these better attainable players ?
  13. double so we've offered him around 3k a week then given he was one of the lowest paid if not the lowest in the first team squad
  14. two of those are on more than the salaries stated from what i was told
  15. no you haven't he was compared to Ferguson and clough on facebook this weekend, when i questioned this i was told my hatred for mowbray knew no bounds!
  16. He's got a point more chance of platting fog than any of those coming here, HSH have supplied managers thats about it
  17. To be fair to mercer i'd been told by that major changes are coming in the next few weeks but no one seemed sure what they are, that came from someone very close to the club
  18. Pickering played right back a number of times for Crewe last season
  19. Bury FC have been saved great news for a traditional Lancashire club
  20. We will win this and FB and twitter non match going brigade will once again urge us to back Mowbray and how lucky we are to have him
  21. Thing is we will probably scab a win saturday, the tonys doing a brilliant job lot will be back out in force spin and repeat this every 4 weeks
