Early Nov'19 we lost to Leeds and fell to 18th, 8 points behind sixth place. Now after a fantastic run we've moved to within 2 points of sixth place. The big question is can we continue to produce results that will get us into a playoff position. TM has come in for some criticism and I'm one who joined that debate but its a results game and he deserves credit for picking a winning team. May still be critics on his subs, sitting on a 1 goal lead but if we keep winning that's good enough for me. Looking at same time last year we were again 10th with a point better off with a better GD. Think PL is there for WBA and Leeds, two strong sides with owners who have invested wisely. PNE would have been well in the mix had they not suffered 4 consecutive defeats. If we had have won that day, plus the other "dropped point" games, "as it stands" league table below would have looked far better. He's a man under pressure but I didn't like the way he stormed down the tunnel. After 9 years TH that's a mighty big if. But they wont. The owners are business people not football and I'm pretty much 100% sure there are people connected with the club who have advised/suggested that they reconnect (sorry I mean connect!) but its a business venture and they will not look further than that. What a nicely paid job Waggott has. He must be bored stiff driving round with obsoletely no responsibility. He's not stupid and can see what's happening as well as (most) we can. And as for the undercover man the whole set up is a complete joke. I'd be happy if Venkys, Waggott and Mowbray left as the only way we will become a happy, stable club is to start from scratch. Was talking to someone last night who insisted Mowbray was a good manager who had stabilised the club. IMO results and lack of ideas don't lie. We are going backwards and time is also an issue. I'd rather Venkys go and we start all over again.
