  1. Reminds me of when we signed Danny Murphy etc. Wonder what kind of wages Krul is on.
  2. Can't see him being called up by JDT any time soon.
  3. We can't afford the luxury of letting him make so many errors while on the job. Our GKs did their best to send us down last season and needs improving. No big loss.
  4. I think if Eustace wants an exciting winger our best bet might be Siriki Dembele. I have a feeling he likes Ryan Hedges based on the glimpses he saw last season. No news yet on Dolan (and Gallagher) so could be some exits before incomings. Hyam out makes sense too but doubt it'll happen.
  5. Clock is ticking, we bare scraped through last season and really need reinforcements. How long has it taken us to earmark a striker? A few years now...
  6. That scenario would be believable in any club tbh. Completely normal.
  7. It's give and take these days. Modern goalkeepers are better with the ball at their feet but the best shotstoppers don't necessarily play for the best teams any longer. Getting the complete package for a club like ours is very rare, Raya being the closest we'll get in the foreseeable future.
  8. He can play for us and make as many mistakes as he'd like, being Stuart's son. Stuart is top two Rover of all time for me alongside Duffer.
  9. I think he has aggression/intensity in him. Just need to be coached into becoming a two-way player.
  10. You're not helping your case mate. Ruddy is past it and we can't afford the luxury of taking on another development project between the sticks with Okonkwo.
  11. Even if we have a healthy budget we're always going to be second, third or more in line in the queue to sign attractive players given our restrictive wage budget. Meaning we need a proven goalscorer but we're not going to get one.
  12. So we know who we definitely won't sign?
  13. Or it's the same story with we can spend funds on fees but not on wages. £10m and £1k/w offers to try and con us fans.
  14. We had some money to spend last summer too, until we hadn't any longer.
  15. Don't forget that it was Gregg who brought JDT in. We were about to hire Big Dunc or someone of his calibre.
  16. Hope he started scouting prior to re-joining us.
  17. I think there's something there and wouldn't mind getting him back, but prefer loans with a view or permanent transfers where we can develop our own players instead.
  18. Not too dissimilar to Josh Bowler, perhaps that's what Blackpool see in him as well? Has a lot of skill and goals in him, but maybe not the best defensively and not really an out and out striker, so a bit of a luxury player to have in your team.
  19. If you reject a betting company and accept a local vape business instead based on moral grounds, then it's time for a reality check. Bullshit owners.
  20. Nature of the beast. The big guns have the finances to take risks on younger players and we can't compete financially. A shame that, should he become a PL regular, we receive peanuts - all while losing £20m per year. The events that has seen Phillips, Wharton and now Finneran leave for ridiculous fees really leaves me with a sour taste in my mouth. On a totally different note, the Euros has so many teams in it now that I'm starting to lose interest in that too. Can't feel the buzz. Is it only because I'm Norwegian and we're not qualified? Game has gone to shits. Jay-Z more important that football legends in the stand.
  21. It's not all about output though. I think Gallagher is hit and miss, but a lot of the time with Leonard in the team we were on the back-foot as his hold-up play is still very much in development. He had a great understanding with A. Wharton, so I will be curious to see if he manages to get to as many clear-cut chances without his longtime teammate.
  22. I'm not counting him out yet, but needs to take grab any chance he gets this coming season. Wouldn't mind loaning him out to a promotion candidate in League One.
