Only on loan or will he be a keeper? -

Standing his ground is fair enough, but over Ruddy!? Ffs! Hope they get German sorted. Shouldn’t Waggott put his foot down? Must prefer a financially sound deal over a more expensive one. Hoping for a ‘marquee’ signing the coming week. -

A loan from League One? Go figure. -

Looks quick and combative. Can cover more ground than Travis and Tronstad, and a good alternative - we don't really need a starter there but someone who can challenge those two. But with injuries to both hamstrings, they might be recurring and not a good sign. Has a fee been mentioned? -

Doesn't have bags of pace but can definitely beat his man. Would be a big upgrade on Dolan in any case, and can play across the front. I would prefer to go for someone a bit younger than Dembele considering we're dealing with assets here. Dembele has more tricks up his sleeve and is more proven at this level, but Aasgaard has more room for growth and will easily fetch a good fee if we sell him on. I don't see us spending £3.5m on a League One player, but a deal with add-ons - who knows? If we were going to reinvest a big portion of all the money we have received from player sales the past 12 months, I think we would've made more deals by now. -

Leicester looking to sell Tom Cannon. Bought him from Everton for £6m a year ago. Work your magic @glen9mullan -

You're probably right. Wasn't it Eustace who mentioned they had drawn up a list of 50 or 60 players? -

A direct attacking player with flair and pace? Are you sure about that? Not having him at £3.5m but is on a long deal and has shown great improvement. -

Nicko must be in touch with Eustace's side then... so source not John Park? Eustace's agent? Thelo can represent England, France, Norway and Scotland so hope he gets called up to the Norway squad for a friendly soon. -

Are they on Eustace's list? Thelo is another good Norwegian prospect 😉 born and raised in England though. Thought he looked quite raw when he played in the Championship but has enjoyed a very good season in League One. -

Looks very tricky and can operate on both flanks. Still has potential for growth and seems like his decision making isn't always the best, but I'm excited about the prospect of him joining. Glen doesn't post often and knows his stuff, just waiting for him to start signing players - it's been a few years since he signed Rhodes for us 🙂 -

I don't think Gueye will play in the Prem unless he wins promotion for us or another Championship side. Would fit great in Luton, but hope they don't establish themselves as a top contender. Real impact player though, and a lot of charisma, so he'll be a fan favourite at Ewood. Regarding your assessment of our central midfield, I think that's also down to us pushing higher up, especially at home. That leaves gaps in the back, but Travis and Tronstad are both a bit too slow to cover enough ground quickly when we're in trouble. Tronstad with a little bit more pace off the mark would be in the Premier League imho. -

JRC looked the best he's looked so far. A positive game from him and hope he regains the excellent form he had before a few bad injuries. Great player on when on form. -

Good hard-working effort. Oxford looked dangerous and scored a wonder goal (not a Pears mistake btw). Travis gave the ball away on a few occasions, and a few of our starters didn't look too great. Love the energy of Ohashi and Gueyeis impactful, whether he starts or comes on from the bench. Great to have more strings to play on. Dolan looked his normal self, bits are good but can't weight a pass properly to play as a #10. A little more pace on the break needed, bring someone exciting in. -

A lot of people moaning about the prospect of a GK loan. Better? Nothing is set in stone here, so we'll see what/who we end up with. If we can get the same quality on a permanent then of course that is preferable. -

If we loan five youngster without a buy-clause that slot right into our first eleven, then that doesn’t make sense. But one or two quality loans from the PL shouldn’t upset anyone. -

I fully agree with you. Just pointing out that Weimann is a very useful utility player. We definitely need a few more players with pace. I'll settle for a new GK and three outfield players who can slot right into the first eleven. That shouldn't be too difficult to do. -

Weimann can play out wide though. Great at holding the ball up and drawing freekicks, but if he's a regular then that's a bad sign in my eyes. I would start him ahead of JRC tomorrow as he's looked a lot sharper and has experience and the intensity we need. -

We’ve gone through a list I presume and deals for de Lange (chose Marseille) and Drommel presumably fell through. Rushworth is a very good option in the interim until we find a long term GK. -

That special blend eh? Sign him on a 2-year deal with an extra 1-year option and it's definitely worth the risk. He'll take up a spot free'd up for someone else though, so I think Eustace wants someone from his list considered first - someone with Championship experience and who he's sure will go straight into and strengthten the starting XI. Although we've all fallen in love with Gueye and especially Ohashi, it's still early days and they have a lot more still to prove. I'm more convinced by Gueye to be honest, than Ohashi, as Gueye's overall contribution to the team is bigger in my view. Wonder if we offered Vale to Jubilo Iwata 😄
