  1. In our current model GB’s role really is key. He’ll have a list of replacements for every position, including JDT’s. The big question each time is how far down the list we have to go before getting our man.
  2. Needs more authority and command the box better. Having to make that many saves, the odd error will occur as well. If we can protect our gk’s a little better, that would be a nice place to start.
  3. I agree. Don’t have that stat. My point was how worrysome the stats are, not how great Leo has done. Third most saves, not played in all games, and second most conceded goals as a team. Dire stuff.
  4. Hyam was awful against Hudds and tonight. Rushed back perhaps?
  5. Looking at it our goals were quite soft too. Mistake from their CH to let Szmodics in on goal and Pickerings shot was not the most difficult to deal with either.
  6. Pears: 9 apps, 1 clean sheet, 30 saves Wahlstedt (before tonight): 20 apps, 4 clean sheets, 68 saves From the official site so that’s probably in all competitions. Third most saves in the league and Leo hasn’t even played in all the games.
  7. Think Garrett warranted a start with his cameos as of late, but would put Travis ahead of him next game. Trav blows too much hot and cold for me, he has good stints and then looks heavy-legged and makes every game into a battle of shithousery.
  8. Check the form table. Crunch game this, time to shut up shop and get some draws away and win the ones at home. JDT's approach this season is more gung-ho compared to last season. He might be too stubborn to change things around now, I don't know.
  9. It's all deja vu from under Mowbray when we were playing slow predictable possession oriented football. It's always difficult when defenders get caught out and have to run towards their own goal. Easy pass over the top and it's a chance. We didn't give away tooooo many chances in the build-up today, but a horrible watch it was. Good night.
  10. Some worrying facts for me are: Wahlstedt has made the third most saves in the league. We have conceded the second most goals in the league; 46 goals in 25 games, an average of 1,84 per game. Only Rotherham have conceded more with 48 so should be an eventful game eh? We have played well and lost in a fair few matches this season but after a while that'll tire out the squad mentally and that's what it looks like we're seeing now. The performance levels are dropping, and the team spirit is really getting tested. Need two good results now in a row against Rotherham and in the FA Cup and hopefully we can get a bit of confidence back.
  11. Semir looked decent, but didn't threaten their goal enough for me. I'll give him and Tronstad 7/10, and everyone else a 5 or less.
  12. A few individual mistakes tonight, incredible that we can't cope with that corner kick from them. Markanday was clearly fouled beforehand too. And we had a big penaly shout... ref was shit, and so were we.
  13. Brittain is good at right midfield but looks shabby at RB.
  14. Rosenior probably watched our game vs. Huddersfield. Same story. Pickering and Hyam are so slow it hurts my eyes to watch the pair of them play on the left side of our defence.
  15. Before this game Wahlstedt had made the third most saves in the division. Tells it all really.
  16. I'd prefer we spend money on player transfers instead of swapping managers. Too soon.
  17. Hyam (+ Pickering and Wahlstedt) poor for their first. Hill and Hyam poor for their second. Hyam poor for their third. We've been found out though, getting countered to death by the likes of Huddersfield should wake JDT and his staff up and adjust the midfield and defense. We did look a little more direct to start with but gave shite goals away. What a month of football. Jesus.
  18. Everyone plays that style now, no one's supposed to play passes like Hyam does.
  19. Some soft goals given away tonight, that's for sure. A bit crazy to rest players for this one, although we looked horrible against Huddersfield and changes had to be made.
  20. Shithouse referee. Putting pressure on us with all the soft bookings in the first, while letting Hull get away with the same type of offenses without anything. Hyam looks far off it, poor poor captain. Tronstad onlye one decent tonight for me. Hurting here...
  21. I’ll take delusional any day of the week. We’ll see after January how the squad looks. I was pessimistic about December and rightfully so, Hull away is a huge fixture looking both ways at the table.
  22. Shocking game, worst I performance of the season from what I've seen. Huge error by Wahlstedt on their first goal but Brittain should have closed down sooner. A big moment in the game was when Telalovic passed to Szmodics who was offside instead of taking the chance himself. If he wanted to grab the chance he was given then that was the moment to pounce. 0-3 happened soon after. A big worry that we're conceding so many goals, Huddersfield created a lot of clear-cut chances as has been the case in many games prior. Think we're too open and need to balance the way we play in various phases of the game. Hull is a massive game coming up or we'll be eight points behind the play-offs with poor goal difference.
  23. Could Gelhardt be a replacement for the injured Dolan? Dolan still hasn't signed a new deal.
  24. Wahlstedt has to work on a few things in order to become as good as some of his predecessors. Distribution, placement, bravery and also gives too many rebounds for my liking. I think he can collect more corners/crosses than he does but he always chooses the 'safe route', the same goes for some of his shot stopping. Think he had a decent game though, just not quite ready yet. Kaminski also gave away some similar goals to what Leo has done, but shut shop on a regular basis too. Healey should have been offside if our defenders did their job though... Will be good to get Hyam back as a leader in the back.
