The problem with us is that as soon as there are other bidders it seems like we pull away from any deal as the buruaucracy within the club takes too long to get anything done in time. Free's and players we have tracked for a while, sure, but yeah...could be we're a bit better now with the new setup but not holding my breath over the quality of the signings we'll make.

JRC biggest disappointment so far, and think Weimann should start the next game. Brittain giving the ball away before their second goal was borderline criminal, but we got away with a few individual mistakes earlier in the match. Brittain made up for it with his brilliant cross to the brave Ohashi. Need a RW, think Hedges and Sigurdsson look okay on the left, and would prefer a quicker CM too, and a LB with some pace that we can use when Pickering gets skinned (been good so far). Great point, thought that wasn't more than we deserved, but a little bit better concentration and we could've hit them on the break and gotten 2-0 before they equalised. Josh Sargent is quality.

The pace alone of Khadra does something to the opposition’s defensive strategy, which in the opens up various other avenous. He’s not the best ball player unfortunately but we won’t get a ready made player that has it ‘all’.

I don't agree. Thought he looked better towards the end and looked to have a bit of fight in him, unlike Moran. He can play infront of Trav and Tronstad, but has to be more effective - still only 20 so has time on his side.

He can carry the ball as well. Think he has a bit of potential but would we need some permanent signings now and Brighton would probably prefer another loan. Cost them £3.5m amost two years ago and has only made three PL apps for them.

I think Duru can debutise at RB, along with JRC, and we have enough CB's. GK need to spend £2m+ LB need to spend £1m Two wingers/forwards £2.5m each CM £3m So that's pretty much all of the SS reinvested, and that's the bare minimum in my view. They're having a laugh if they're chasing frees and sub £500k players. GK Daniel Iversen LB No idea Wingers Ryo Germain and a PL loan? CM Punt on Puerta from Kusen?

He won't be their highest earner and if they suffer relegation, which most people expect, they'll have one heck of a player to fire them back up again. If he does well in the PL he's worth at least £10m as he's a proven PL by then. Low risk imo.

15k for Dolan would be mad. Give him 10k and a bonus if he reaches certain milestones. Hope to see some more consistency from him this season but certainly not expecting it. If he doesn't sign and he leaves next summer then it's probably better for all parties that he does play; we can set the asking price higher and the tribunal panel will surely look at his pedigree and not rip us off too badly if it comes to that.

SS is one of the best players we've had under Venky's and I'm guessing he's our first top goalscorer since Shearer (?). Some players figure something out and JDT made him make smarter runs into the box and his movement for his goal against Derby is a perfect example of that. Works his socks off too. That he's still in development at 29 is a testament to him really. Remember it took him a season to really start producing the goods so especially Yuki I think needs to find his feet, while Gueye has a different style and if he can get 10 goals and a few assists (or second last pass) then he will have been a success.

We definitely need bodies in. Our opener against Derby could've gone both ways, it's easy to pat our own backs and say we have had a stormer of an opener, but we fell into some of our old ways in that second half and hardly touched the ball for long spells. I would bring in a GK, LB, CM and a couple of wingers with pace if I was in charge. And preferably someone who can cross the ball as we have a beast no. 9 who will ragdoll most CB's in the league if we put some balls in the box.

I'd tell Dolan to sign that contract offer if he wants the chance to be the next star boy. Thank you to Szmodics for keeping us up.
