Nicolai Jørgensen would be scraping the bottom of the barrel, surely? He's Danish so one can assume JDT knows him well, but my guess is he has been injury-plaged and is in the stay well clear of bracket.

At the end of the day we weren't able to attract the ones we were really after, and were probably left with ones that aren't much of an improvement on what we already have (Gallagher). I just hope Gallagher can find some form and start playing more intelligently. Vale I have no time for, needs to be shipped out.

Maybe the club camera broke and they had to book a professional photographer, but they are all busy with taking photos of new players at other clubs. Gregg writes long essays when we sign players so probably needs a bit more time.

I don't know the exact rules, but might have to ensure everything is in order with the FA before announcing anything. I don't care if our new signings are allowed to sleep in as long as they're announced. But if there are one or more players joining alongside O'Brien, then it should have been leaked from the other side so perhaps a loan striker from abroad?

Think he'll be right pissed off and letting GB and Waggott know what he thinks, but he'll just use what he has. But I'm guessing he's already let GB know which players can improve and the ones that can't by now, so he'll be rightly annoyed that we haven't replaced a few of them. We should have had at least one deal lined up as soon as the window opened. I understand it's a crazy environment, but leaving it this late and scattering for leftovers is borderline criminal.

I'm not 'the rest of the football world'. I think what's happening at Chelsea is attracting more interest than what's not happening at Rovers.

Think they paid £22m for Berge and would want that back with interest. And like for like...they must have more players lined up in that case. In all likelihood their squad is already strong enough for top two.

We probably won't mind the £10m clause if we go up. Slim chance we do, but O'Brien would be an excellent signing.
