Nicolai Jørgensen would be scraping the bottom of the barrel, surely? He's Danish so one can assume JDT knows him well, but my guess is he has been injury-plaged and is in the stay well clear of bracket.

At the end of the day we weren't able to attract the ones we were really after, and were probably left with ones that aren't much of an improvement on what we already have (Gallagher). I don't know the exact rules, but might have to ensure everything is in order with the FA before announcing anything. I don't care if our new signings are allowed to sleep in as long as they're announced. But if there are one or more players joining alongside O'Brien, then it should have been leaked from the other side so perhaps a loan striker from abroad?

Think he'll be right pissed off and letting GB and Waggott know what he thinks, but he'll just use what he has. But I'm guessing he's already let GB know which players can improve and the ones that can't by now, so he'll be rightly annoyed that we haven't replaced a few of them. We should have had at least one deal lined up as soon as the window opened. I understand it's a crazy environment, but leaving it this late and scattering for leftovers is borderline criminal.
