  1. I've said it before, he's an athlete, not a footballer
  2. Walton has saved us from being 3 down
  3. The late break by Rovers showed up Samuel, not a clue what to do, scuffs his shot and gets a lucky corner
  4. He actually said the complete opposite
  5. That was a classic piece of play and commentary, picnics, Nasser foot in mouth, no ball wicket and Sibley deathwish and all in 6 balls FFS back to Angel cake and Tea. I appeal to Sky to sort this crap out
  6. I think I know how it will pan out so my vote is for Wycombe based on the length of Ainworths hair. It reminds me of me in the 70s. COYB
  7. Great photo. Dad took the Family to Blackburn on holiday quite a few times at Easter when I was a youngster. I remember going to the Fair at Ewood and going to pay for a ride and my pockets were empty. For sure I would only have had a bob or two but had bought nothing beforehand. Also vaguely recall going to a Fair somewhere else in town and the streets were cobbled but all around looked almost derelict. I did go to a fair of sorts at Witton Park but that was much later I think and was the first time I had ever had black peas.
  8. I suspect he had to sign a NDA before he left and maybe even delayed final salary bonus etc. to ensure silence. I expect they all were. He wouldn't name them even now. There's a reason for that and it's not nice imo Remember the scum running the show at that time were basically shitheads protected by shysters
  9. First decent laugh for a while. Just ask Tony.
  10. I can't remember who was around then apart from those we can't name. Maybe the tramp who had nothing to do with the team but kipped down at Brockhall. Maybe the programme seller.
  11. Mowbray and Waggott don't care. Even they will retire someday and it will not be to the Town and going to Ewood to watch Rovers. Meanwhile, it will be left to decay.
  12. Apologies if this has been posted already somewhere on the MB. A quite superb interview with Ryan Nelsen - he touches on his departure from Rovers from 38 mins but it well worth starting at the beginning. https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p08jl443
  13. Makes sense as the few who show up at the Meccano Stadium are ManUre fans who can't afford OT prices. Drinking in Golden Balls makes them feel at home.
  14. Maybe Rovers players will get some ideas on effective hairbands. Players can't give caps or sweaters to the Umpire so Wood is wearing Jimmys cap whilst Jimmy bowls. OK, there's a logic in there somewhere no doubt ......... I'd rather listen to anybody than Ebony. How can she possibly comment on Men's international Cricket? She's doing ok on hair guidance
  15. Yes, my thoughts too. I can't fathom leaving the ball in such conditions. Apparently it's tactical early in an innings.
  16. I hope it's not taken up by the PL where its the dominant factor pre-match already IMHO
  17. Forecast not too bad, Cloudy with the possibility of rain. The rest of the days are good.
  18. He deserves an assist. It was a beaut, begging to be smacked.
  19. So happy to see Cricket back Does anyone know the relevance of the Black Gloves? I'm sure it's not a Black Power tribute so what's today's PC version of the Truth.
  20. I'll watch that one. 11 pm ko here
  21. I wonder if that is some sort of record
  22. It's 2.5 YEARS since we last won away after going behind in a League game True or false?
