  1. They are most dislikeable and true to their heritage. And that goes for those gloating Aussie commentators.
  2. Bairstow, when playing against cunts don't be a soft lad. I am trying my best not to swear but this is pressing the button. Hard
  3. Now it's simple. Stokes and Bairstow must not gift there wicket away. If they stay in they will score sufficient, there is plenty of time. Either goes we are done. I like and rate Duckett but for goodness sake leave the high bouncers well alone.
  4. Test match, Lancs T20, England u21 Euro QF and European darts .... Only way through this is to watch them all so the wife's phone is going to be requisitioned. She doesn't know it yet but that's her problem...
  5. I think that's what I heard on commentary but hadn't seen the above wording before. He was falling over so fair enough to get called for that.
  6. TBH I think it was in his hand long enough to be good but no problem with the umpire correcting his previous gross errors, just like football Refs do all the time
  7. He's always been a class act, in the dickhead sense Just a taste of this particular convict
  8. Payback for the dodgy Green and Smith grasses
  9. Yes, I thought so too as that evolved.
  10. The ball that did for Pope certainly was. Root should have not played at the bouncer. Brooks is not noted for his defensive capabilities, it was a decent ball though.
  11. Root gone to a ball he should have just left alone. Brooks in. Bouncers incoming Edit: Brooks was gone before the Aussies bothered with tennis balls.
  12. I can't think of any clubs having been punished for the betting habits of their players
  13. It was atrocious to watch and to think Jardine was vilified for similar. The Aussies will do non stop bouncers, we will take it on, let's see what happens. There is sufficient time left to chase it down and beat the Leeds 2019 4th innings winning chase. It's time for Stokes to step up to one of his big hitting innings. I do think it's doable.
  14. Arrogant as usual. You realise, probably not, that criticism is coming from many quarters. Listen to TMS. I apologise for responding to your post as usually I just ignore rubbish.
  15. Much more fun watching hookers who can't hook. Talking of hookers we need Smith out early, then Head and we then have a chance in the game.
  16. Another good summary https://www.bbc.com/sport/cricket/66073213
  17. Rain has started at Notts but still playing. Bears have recovered well after that amazing first over loss of 4 wickets. Yates is still in so Bears with a chance but could go DLS Edit. Gone off. Notts lead on DLS. Yates just hit 16 of the final over before they went off. I hope they come back.
  18. I think Pakistan and South Africa are in major transition and not anywhere near their best. The teams to beat in a Test series to prove the approach are the Aussies and India. Still 3-0 in Pakistan is highly commendable.
  19. I think you are correct, 1 point for a NR puts us through. Its pissing down and poor weather forecast at OT
  20. Against teams who we would beat anyway playing what has been insulted on here as 'the old fashion way'.
  21. And now they have Smith. I find him dislikeable as a person but as a batsman he is superb. We do have Root but only if he's allowed to play his natural game which is run gathering not trying to hit the ball over the pavillion.
  22. This is heading for an exciting 4th innings run chase if the Aussies are decent fellows and into only accepting a win or lose results situation and give us a competitive target between 350 and 400. Australia in 1948 at Leeds won in the 4th with 404/3 Also at Leeds in 2019 and in an otherwise low scoring game, including a 67/10 debacle from England in their first innings, England won with 362/9 in the 4th. We could however bowl the Aussies out quickly tomorrow. Its that or the Aussies being kind...... The Aussies will however try to set a target whereby they cannot lose as we do have the potential to chase down a big target in the 4th. Its going to be interesting.
  23. That's what I said and you called it silly.
  24. Quote 'The simple thing is that England weren’t prepared for the short ball barrage and had no idea what to do about' I responded to the above. if you can't do it, don't do it. What's your non silly answer?
