  1. Saturday and Sunday have the potential to both be washouts and some rain also tomorrow.
  2. I agree with all you say and IMO we have just about the most lame offering in the Championship. It is unlikely to improve anytime soon as all clubs offerings will have to be revamped to accommodate the big changes in the televising and streaming of EFL games from the 2024/25 season.
  3. That looked grounded anyway. Cummins has got a cob on, moody git.
  4. Controlled aggression by a superb Crawley and Root made that a session to remember. Ali did very well too until his brain fart. Stick it to the convicts after tea.
  5. Ali did well but if you give 3 easy catch chances within 10 minutes of each other one will stick.
  6. 75,784 saw the Aussies beat Ireland 1-0 at Stadium Australia, Sydney. Excellent opening day crowds in both Susan's NZ, but expected with the hosts playing their openers.
  7. Ella Toone is, and she scored in our win in the Euro 2022 final. Add Keira Walsh and Georgia Stanway who scored the winner in that Euro Final.
  8. NZ had a most effective central striker. Tall lady, took punishment and put herself about against quite niggly opposition ... and scored the winner. The game was faster than I expected and very competitive. But it's nothing like the mens game, never will be, but I hope it grows on its own merits. Interestingly they played 9 mins extra time at the end of the 2nd half after no major stoppages. I wonder if that's a taste of the new directives.
  9. Oh for sure and it was good free PR for the club and owner
  10. Despite missing a penalty co-hosts New Zealand beat the highly rated Norway team 1-0 in the opening game today and deservedly so. It was a very watchable game and the NZ goal came from a fast, skilful counter attack and cool finish. A goal worthy of winning any game. A noisy and partisan crowd of 42,000 created a great atmosphere. The Aussies v Ireland ko at 5 pm UK time, live on ITV. it clashes with the Ashes though so I'll only have half an eye on it. England v Haiti is on Saturday.
  11. I'll do one on the WC. Cheers.
  12. Nice kit and the awful sponsors logo is less intrusive.
  13. I was just about to post about the Women's WC which has started today and I'm currently watching and enjoying NZ v Norway via BBC 1. Are such posts banned on here, I missed all of the previous deleted stuff and what occured.
  14. Yes, and she was in house so it was a good move by FGR to make the interim appointment immediately post Ferguson in the pre season. She was obviously well respected by all at the club after being in charge of their academy and knew the club's players and club culture.
  15. Maybe they might do something with the Girona at home game. Maybe the hosts of the away games will do something. I stopped relying on RoversTV along time ago. I do know that all PL clubs and many Championship and below provide such a service for pre season games but expecting Rovers to is no longer worthwhile.
  16. A,most enjoyable days cricket. A Godsend in these football troubled times Also a shout out for Balderson and Bailey, valiant stuff from both to rescue Lancs 1st innings.
  17. 2 have long standing recurring groin issues, known when recruited. Recruit crocks, expected them to be crocked.
  18. PL games would last a minimum of 2 hours so it will have to be ok'd by Sky.....
  19. Gross stupidity shown by the ECB and now they've completely clutter fecked the calendar with The Hundred, a poor man's T20. If the US based version of T20 succeeds it will drain the best UK cricketer's from our home summers. It's basically run by the same lot as do the IPL and the new experiment in SA so has every chance of being big.
  20. It gave me eye strain and a bad headache, other than that it was shit.
  21. They cannot stop Newcastle. Simply put MBS could buy the whole PL countless times over and probably will over time.
  22. And the brains behind the structure knew that would be the outcome and wanted it to be.
  23. Until MBS gets involved.
  24. Do Saudia fly from Manchester, here's hoping.
