  1. For a long time I thought Ward was Benson and wondered wtf he was doing on the touchline talking to managers so much.
  2. The initial remit under Mowbray was to keep us in the Championship. He failed, his own words.
  3. An appalling showing on a Friday night makes for a very long weekend. Not nice.
  4. I just watched the Sky extended highlights to see if we were as bad as I thought. We were and so was that object posing as a Referee, both were appalling and gutless in tandem. I hope I never see Dolan exposed to defending in a LB position again especially against pace and crosses. He made a major contribution to our conceding the first 2 goals. On the first he lost his man and was done for pace. On the second he lost his man and FFS then ducked out of a header. He has no real pace in a sprint race. I don't fault Dolan completely, JDT made a tactical error that exposed his shortcomings in a very dangerous part of the pitch. The 3rd was a classic Rovers balls up. Laughable and I did. Maybe it because we are not used to a perfect pitch and more used to the Ewood scrubland. That's my lame excuse
  5. Tiredness is being put forward as an excuse. This after a break of 5 full days and all of Friday between games. Get real. Was tiredness behind Pears appalling passing and long kicking? We had a communal brain fade and made Stoke look like Brazil and Golum look like Pep. After escaping I ventured back to hell just as BBDs header hit the back of the net so at least saw us score a couple of goals. Amazing what a cross can do. SG runs fast, when running a straight line and most certainly when there is no ball in his vicinity.
  6. Carter was very poor too. Continuously stopping to slow down, pass inside or backwards to players already pressed and in worse position than he was. If he kicked long almost always inaccurate. He was an instigator in most of the pathetic attempts at poorly passing the ball across the back and to Pears who had set the tone early playing netball.
  7. I think it was a self inflicted knee bend/ twist caused by him trying a clearance against a fast incoming Stoke player on his blind side, almost resulting in a deflection into goal. Definitely a real injury.
  8. Sure can in the Championship and Cup. Predictions heart not head based.
  9. I am tonight, having stayed up to expect at least an effort not just in the dying embers by which time Stoke should have had us slaughtered. I expect us to win at the Thugs in the Cup and no way is Ince doing a double over us 😎
  10. Neils pre match comments and tactics are not the reason we looked like strangers who had just met up for a park kick about. Like others I cannot fathom how our performance across the whole team and age groups within it can fluctuate so wildly. We were off the pace from the start and then got worse.
  11. Stoke should have had 5 before we scored our first. Don't let our too late rally deflect from how awful that was from us.
  12. Me too. I've come on here for any updates. I'm tired of swearing at my phone, on my own.
  13. Put it this way, we are making Morton look ok
  14. His contribution to that fuck up actually made me laugh.
  15. I can take losing. Its being absolute shit thats more testing.
  16. Its like they all took a 'lets be friggin crap' pill pre game and SG took 2. Too many are mia
  17. I do agree that they, sadly, need reminding. The shame being that the club can't be trusted to without such a reminder
  18. Surely the club can fulfill a promise to fans without having to be asked? I'm being sarcastic btw.
  19. I was based in Haywards Heath then so went south on a train full of Palace fans. Hell would have been nicer. I had got a ticket from a work colleague who was Palace so was sat amongst Palace and gave it away when I berated Windy for blasting a good chance high. A steward came to my rescue with the sound advice to just reign it in. Leaving the ground, tearing up the programme and jumping on the pieces brought some odd stares though.
  20. That moment and the whole of the playoff game at Palace are the match moments that still haunt me. By coincidence I came across a full copy of the playoff game on YouTube very recently. I'll watch it when I feel the need for self harm.
  21. Spot on. The 4 key holders to that cupboard are and will remain in situ. They know too much. I had expected GB to be forced to front a PR attempt post arbitration, even though I now consider GB one of the few without guilt. Those above him may well have tried to 'arrange' that and may still or as cowards do let it die under the carpet.
  22. I was side on level with the pen area and to this day can't believe mgp missed that header from a perfect cross into a vacated gaping goal. He must have had his mind on what sort of celebration to do after scoring ..... and forgot that he has to friggin score first.
  23. I got a bit excited when I saw that this thread had new posts thinking that GB had just maybe kept to his word and provided the promised full detailed explanation. Silly, silly me. That lot will make do with the minimal announcement of it being turned down at arbitration. Nothing really changes. A not a single swear word, that shower are not worth the emotion.
