  1. We will give the Thugs a better test than Spuds did. I watched Grimsby tonight, great win and what a following! Them at home ok, but not away so best avoided. Dingles scrape through against 10 men, it was a red but just an unfortunate instinctive reaction.
  2. I see the shit stirrers are out today. Just enjoy the fantastic win in the Cup away to a PL side. "I've compiled a list" .... Sad beyond words.
  3. Fantastic, just beautiful. Can't post much as my phone is fecked and will switch itself off anytime. Well-done to all and a big shout out to the fans who travelled in numbers and were heard loud and clear way out in SEA. I watched on the wife's phone last night, brilliant stream. She's got it at her work now ..... Bxxxxy bxxxh
  4. I was in a daze for days after that shite show, just not able to accept that we could be so awful at home in the late stages of the Cup. Appleton brought Rekik in, aged about 19, as a short term loan but played him rarely.
  5. So I need to prepare for: 1. Get in!!! .............. Yes, Get in!!! But also 2. Get in!!! .............. F O Y F Ts
  6. It will be a huge away following who deserve to see a strong Rovers starting lineup. There are 3 full days before the next game, plenty of time for any injury free professional footballer to get sufficient R&R.
  7. Surely this thread is a waste of board resources and all Dingle trivia should be in the Dingle thread, on here under sufference anyway, or in the dustbin.
  8. Excellent point. Progress in the cup is a very nice earner.
  9. Spot on, play each game as they come. If they have the pride, which I believe they now do have, then any player who is "rested" will be well pissed off with missing a cup game against PL opposition. Those who like to argue about anything just for the sake of it will disagree. They are wrong.
  10. I watched via an excellent ESPN+ stream but went to the BBC to check other scores. As you say stuck at HT, what a crap outfit they are. I got them easy enough elsewhere. Great result and what a full on effort by all.
  11. I do hope Ainsworth succeeds at QPR .... Just not at our expense tomorrow or in the playoff positions. Yes I'll go for Rovers 1-2 too
  12. If you live in one of the countries listed then, as I understand it, it will not be on RoversTV for that country. I think they still show in "dark" countries.
  13. The game has been selected for international TV https://m.livesoccertv.com/match/4364306/queens-park-rangers-vs-blackburn-rovers/
  14. There were strong allegations some time ago that the owners would never, ever, sell the club to anyone with local links. So, why would they ever even consider a locally born lad as manager, someone who grew up as a Rovers fan. It was never on the table.
  15. Got to play the cards your dealt. Blackpool not up to much but had chances and some wayward shots. Probably the worst but I like them more than bloody Wigan.
  16. Very content. Well done to all. A nervous final few minutes but we got there. Travis had his best game for ages. Szmodics too. Brittain and Dolan were standouts. Thomas good in patches. All of our defence put a shift in. Gallagher runs around a lot. Not much else. Vale doesn't. I've been critical of JDT but somehow he's got us back in the playoff positions. Long way still to go but with a number of teams around us with no standouts we่ have as good a chance as any of them. Well done JDT.
  17. I had got a bit confused previously but the article I just read, not from the most reputable of sources, was quoting Nixon and specifically relegation to League 1, which makes it more confusing. Yes, wait for the detail is the way to go.
  18. I appreciate it must have been covered on here before but just read an article stating "all terms and a medical had been completed, but the EFL wanted to know what would happen in terms of a potential O’Brien permanent move to Rovers in the event they were relegated to League One". Surely the answer to that was already covered by it being a loan with a buy clause in the event of promotion and quite obviously anything else resulting in the player returning to Forest. Any other interpretation would be, what's the word, oh yes, fucking stupid. If this strange query at a late hour caused the final submission to be a little late and If they really are independent arbitrators and not EFL pals there must be a chance of success.
  19. I do agree the long delay is getting silly but O'Brien is such a good player at Championship level he could make a difference in just 2 or 3 games and get us in the playoffs. He would vastly improve our midfield. However I also believe the arbitration strategy will fail, the EFL will just quote their rule book and I don't see how arbitrators can rule against that, unless there really is a smoking gun in Rovers arsenal. We'll just have to wait a while longer.
  20. I meant on here where I'm just a stakeholder
  21. Are the schools on holiday still?
  22. You were doing ok until the final paragraph.
  23. Great story, and better than the Rovers fax machine not working. I find it really intriguing as to why a chip shop in Blackpool would have need of a fax machine, although if my memory is accurate the early fax paper used was probably ok for wrapping up fish and chips.
