  1. The victims of Vlad the Impaler were all stakeholders too, similar in some ways to the fate of a Rovers fan.
  2. I have not seen the game, awful stream. Good to win, TTF we have CBs who can head the ball. I'll catch the replay tomorrow.
  3. Thanks for answering a fecking stupid question and saving me the trouble.
  4. The Bus or the Sword, that is the question. He was a decent enough Ref in his time onfield.
  5. They want to see good football. It's really as simple as that.
  6. JDT v Russell Martin, there has just got to be more to life than this. Whoever fecks up the short passing first loses.
  7. I am in agreement with that. But I am sure that, and as no fan of the EFL, the EFL have dealt with the appeal(s) within the permitted timeframe whatever that is. When it's finally decided I expect full disclosure from GB as promised. This should include a DD timeframe of who did what, where and when.
  8. Let me repeat: The EFL have not been dragging their feet, they made a decision very quickly and stuck with it. It is Rovers who instigated the appeals.
  9. Dack and Thomas were taken off to close up shop. That tactic failed. We were saved by BBD not putting the free kick over the bar and by a keeper gift
  10. Yesterday there were conflicting stories leaked, one said it had gone to arbitration followed later by Sharpe, as above. I have also read that the EFL declined the re appeal last Friday when Rovers then lawyered up, and presumed this had led to the arbitration avenue which would work for all parties as it shifts final decision to an independent body. In short ... I have not the foggiest as to what the current state of play is. One thing though, the can has now been drop kicked way down the road and so, maybe, has accountability. I am though hopeful that full disclosure with a full timeline will come out of Rovers eventually.
  11. The EFL have not "took their time", they made a decision on or hours after DD. Rovers instigated appeal and re appeal, I assume we asked for arbitration? It would appear the EFL have not blinked as yet.
  12. Good point, just shows what getting on target can do. Well hit but their keeper had weak hands.
  13. Wharton is fine, he's cut out numerous balls coming fast across our area.
  14. So, basically the long term plan/project he keeps spouting off about is something he personally doesn't want to be part of. I don't fault him for not believing in bullshit, even when he's the one fronting it.
  15. Rovers talk to lawyers and the EFL then agree to arbitration. Sounds hopeful and should get to a quicker resolution which is in everyone's interest.
  16. Any manager, or DoF, appointed under the Venky reign suffers from their legacy. The current ones do, Mowbray did and those before him too. It's not really fair, it's just the way it is. However its patently obvious that this line of reasoning comes from just a part of the fan base, and due to fan base attrition under Venkys there are just as many if not more who think JDT and GB are the second coming. Hells bells there are some who dote on Waggott.
  17. This is numbing my brain.
  18. Todays Nottingham Post: "There is no specific timescale for an outcome being reached, however, with the (EFL) governing body dealing with such situations (at Board level) on a case by case basis." So, could be today, next week, whenever.
  19. After more than a decade of almost total neglect Rovers are now to spend a fortune with a consultancy just to put together a master plan for Ewood's development. Well I hope I'll hang around long enough to at least see this master plan, just to make sure it includes a football pitch. Are this lot going to slip one in for Brockhall too .....
  20. I can only assume Southampton directors are planning a rebuild in the Championship next season.
  21. SSN saying that a bid for MU from links to the Qatari Royal family are expected this week.
  22. Proper football tonight, Darvel v Falkirk in the Scottish Cup live on BBC Scotland. I watched Darvel beat Aberdeen and they were good value so I'll watch them as well as keeping an eye on what Dyche can do.
  23. I expect the EFL final ruling to be announced today by Rovers. Whichever way it breaks what I want is FULL disclosure including timeline and individuals involved. You listening GB? It's what was promised so put that brush down.
  24. See page 34 of this thread for some more detail
  25. If they have a working brain cell they are on to Big Sam already.
