Unfortunately Jim the work firewall has blocked your picture, I'll just have to wait until home time to see your undoubted hilarity

suggesting that Amo and Matteo are the pick of the centre halves in training wicked

there's a bench on platform 3 which is a lot cheaper, but it hasn't got a website yet, so I guess I'll end up shelling out hard earned cash on a hotel room. mind you, if you're in a double or a twin, you can get 1.6 nights including breakfast in that hotel for the same price as 90 minutes on a plastic seat at Chelsea surrounded by Asian tourists with Chelsea Megastore carrier bags. So I guess it's all relative really.

You have got to be kidding. I stood at Boundary Park yonks ago on my biking gear. Kept me snug and warm in December on the M62 at eleventy nine mph. Had to rub raw chillis into my genitalia and eyeballs to get me going after that match. Trust me, watching us get beat 5-1 at Barnsley a few seasons ago is the coldest I've ever been in my life. Just when you thought you couldn't get any more miserable Barnsley scored another. I found my ticket from that game yesterday when I was sorting things out in t'flat. Saturday 22 Jan 2000, KO 3pm Row C seat 26 - like that mattered. The only game I've ever left early (when their 5th went in) My Barnsley mate's dad (RIP - he died of a heart attack walking back home from Oakwell a couple of years later) cooked us brunch the next day and replayed the goals which he'd taped off Goals on Sunday. 8 times. Until I'd cleaned me plate.

I'm sure you can gain an upper hand on him Janice, just imagine it's Graeme Souness, and wrap yourself around that little bit tighter

Well after weeks of careful thought, I think I might go to Chelsea. After all there's not a lot you can do with £40 these days. And if I didn't go, I might get hit by a bus and then regret not going. And also, the London Rovers Branch team are going to make a day of it, as the Association of Provincial Football Supporters Clubs in London fixture computer has given us a day off next Sunday. We may be going here and I understand Jim is a regular, so hope everyone who travels can join us and we'll have a little messageboard party. Marvellous.

Yep it's just like that at Chelsea and every other club quiz question - who will be the first Rovers player under Hughes who either voices discontent / moans about lack of opportunity / demands a transfer ? it won't be long so get your answers in quick -

From Monday's Daily Telegraph [etc etc] - full article in the business section at telegraph.co.uk plenty of Rovers links in that little story .... what price Mike Ashley buys out Dave Whelan ... so long as DW drops Wigan Athletic and comes over to Rovers instead !! I'm sure it'll never even be discussed, never mind happen.

Any reason for your Seaman feeling ? My money's on Alan Kelly. -
Cheshire Blue ?? talks crap, can't read

Enron would be a most appropriate shirt sponsor for them
-
That's interesting ... Chelsea clearly have close ties with Emirates (shirt deal), and as the Premiership referees now also carry the Emirates name on their shirts I suppose Arsenal feel the need to get in there as well, to foster that nice cosy feeling. Why not just call it "The Premier League Big Clubs and Refs Stitch-Up in association with Emirates"

is that conjecture or fact ?

herberkerching have you seen the Vodafone thread on ICBINF ? I think you'd better honour your commitments here, otherwise you're going to be sending out cheques for 200 quid a time as well !!!! -

The fact that lard arse has only played 19 games in 18 months and picked up injury upon injury due to his poor condition tells its own story. And as Joe Cole was hung out to dry by Mourinho this weekend, showboating central midfielders in general need to learn there's more to the postition than that. At least Cole doesn't try stuff that trips him up over his own feet. On the wider issue, the constant and ongoing bitching about Souness on this board is nothing short of pathetic. It confirms what I've always thought about a number of contributors on here, that their personal agendas against Souness are far more important to them than Blackburn Rovers. -

But the problem with your idea tnd, is that the people who really matter, ie the core supporters of the teams already in this area, would far rather follow their own team into the Nationwide Conference than see it merged with their local rivals. Such a merged entity would never have a foundation of die-hard fans, and as such would be doomed to failure. -
Read this and weep people. Especially the £620 bit. Let's stop whining.

don't think that was his foot ...

This hotel does a deal when Naarwich play at home = Friday and Saturday night for 2 people (double or twin) for £99 quid, includes full English breakfast both days, and for an extra tenner you can both get dinner on Friday as well. 1/2 a mile from the station and near the ground.
