It's getting a lot of airtime on the various media platforms too. Being billed as the battle of the weekend by some. Nice to see as often the Championship gets ignored whilst they talk about the Prem Top 6 only. Don't get me wrong, I think the top 2 status is feeding that a lot. Not sure it would be getting as much attention if the teams were 8th and 16th in the league. Hopefully we can put on a good show as both teams are capable of playing some nice football. -

We win or lose it? Carlisle United 2013/14ish is last I can remember. Lost that. -

That deserves criticism too. He showed absolutely no strikers instinct there. Froze in the big moment. Worrying. -

They're showing clips on Sky Sports News. That's all I think. -

I thought this too. Bit like City did with Foden. Can't argue with it tbh. Hopefully he follows the same career trajectory. -
This is a fun start to Sat afternoon. 😀 A simultaneous Rovers and England RL win to follow please.

Guess we'll know in exactly 8 days. But for me it's more are they beatable....by us....in an away match.....considering the recent history and current form. And my brain can't help but spit out a resounding no.

I'd be celebrating a draw pretty strongly. Isn't that a bit the same thing.

Congrats Mike, and shout out to Mrs E. You got a bad sleeper? If so, you have my sympathies.

No, that end bit of the article is relating to Gustav Isaksen. Although it is confusingly written tbf.

How rude. We've had 1 yellow card in last 180mins of football. Not bad in the rough and tumble of the Championship. Feels almost like you're getting the excuses ready in advance. 😉

Right folks, it's Saturday night, we've won 4 on the bounce, and no doubt a few have had some celebration drinks. So let's have a party atmosphere instead of arguing. Anyone not feeling the vibe will be quickly uninvited. -

Thread locked while we try to sort out whatever this mess is. Everyone go for a walk round the block or something. -

No different from any team that's gone before them really. -

😟😟 Nah, think you've got our DNA wrong, lab must have mixed up the samples. We're the ender of streaks for a team on bad times desperate for a result. One that hasn't won at home all season, hasn't scored a goal in 9 hrs of football, hasn't scored a set piece since 2019 etc etc. Our own runs, good or bad, we tend to keep going. See the QPR win and Wigan loss this season as evidence. And Burnley and West Ham to come in next month. Now, if Birmingham were on some bad run of form recently I'd be worried, but as they've been doing ok, I'm less concerned. Keep the faith! And definitely don't blame me if the faith is unrewarded....... I'll be in hiding anyway. -

We're World beaters at home against Birmingham in October dating back to 1922. They've never beaten us. Record reads: DWWWWWW That irrelevant and useless fact gives me full confidence we're going 3 wins on the spin. 2-1. -

Beware, what Tony says and what he does are often complete strangers. He told us "defenders are coming" for years and we're only close to sorting it now with the additions of Brittain and Hyam. He talks a good game, the reality can be very frustrating. -

He gives the best interviews in any of the leagues. Can't think of any other footballer that looks so happy and full of enjoyment whilst dealing with the media. He should be shown to every school team and academy around. That's how you deal with pressure, scrutiny and fame. Particularly after the transition he's been through. Fantastic example to set. How many times could a valuable player walk away on a free at the end of a season with full backing and fondness from most of the fans. Unheard of. -

Nailed on penalty and potentially a fraction offside. This could be the first Mowbray interview I've looked forward to in about 3 years. -
