  1. How many did they have at Ewood??
  2. This is getting as good as the drog/Blue phil thread in ICBINF ! Proper Bo!!!
  3. **UPDATE** Rovers average attendance is 19467 (after 6 home games) Wigans average attendance is 20655 (after 8 home games) (1188 behind) Total attendances for both clubs are:- Rovers 116806 Wigan 165247 (48441 behind) ................................................................ Interesting fact, both teams have now played Fulham, Spurs & Newcastle at home...with Wigan having the biggest attendance on all three occasions ................................................................ Rovers next home game is v Eveton this Saturday (hopefully a big gate?) To catchup with Wigans average, we need to top a 27500 gate....although it`s not a sprint.....it`s a marathon. Wigans next home league game is v Charlton on 17th Dec....so you would expect a lower crowd for that one (Rovers v Charlton att was 17691)
  4. I`m just glad i`m one of the other 30%
  5. Undoubtedly a great player. Unfortunately a waste of a decent transplanted organ.
  6. Tiz amazing how that can peater-off, when a team stop winning stuff.
  7. Did i hear that the Rangers board have given mcLeish 3 games to 'put it right', the 1st being the celtic match? Cheerio the noo!!
  8. **update* Rovers average att 19467 (6 games) Wigan average att 20377 (7 games) Rovers next home game vs Everton
  9. I think i`d look rather fetching in that garb!
  10. Maybe if Rovers had some WWE pro-american wrestling on the pitch at half-time....it would appease 'our beloved Vinjay' & take his mind off our lost millions? Maybe blue/white halved spandex leotards & face masks instead shirt & shorts?
  11. good post Philipl I`d rather have who we`ve got than a Ken Bates type.
  12. Q....Will the 'handshakes' be different?
  13. The offer of 'stickers' does it for me!!
  14. ....i agree. Sometimes football clubs are guilty of taking the fans for granted. Voting with their feet & their wallets is sometimes the only way to get the boards attention. Maybe that`s one of the reasons why attendances have been steadily falling for the last few years....people have not been happy with the product on offer?
  15. ....not a bad idea actually theno why don`t the club register as a charity & supporters can 'donate' whatever they want every week by direct debit (say £1 a week) Who`s first??
  16. Keep the fans in line?? I`m sorry, but we are not sheep. We don`t just empty our pockets into the club just because they want us to. The board at BRFC do not own us. The board/board members may own Blackburn Rovers as a business, but it`s the supporters who really own the club .....every club. They`d be nothing without the fans. I may be a fan, but i am certainly not a sheep. Football clubs (in general) can make some pretty crappy decisions (i.e...West Hams bond scheme, Wimbledon`s move from their 'home', Leeds Utd`s vast overspending etc....) all of which had nothing to do with the fans BUT affected the fans who love their club the most. That`s why keeping a supporters organisation Independent from the club is essential.......in my view
  17. B.R.F.C I`ve got a Rovers flag that you can have if you`ll pay for the postage. I haven`t got a clue where it came from (drunken exploits ). It`s not in pristine condition, but it`s presentable. It`s approx 3ft x 2ft in with blue/white quarters (4 of them....obviously ) with the club badge in the centre. It`s also got 2 brass loops...so it can be flown. If you`re interested, let me know. Haven`t a clue how much to post...or how to organise it.
  18. Blackpool Rover...just go up Livesey Branch rd (hill nr mc Donalds) & turn right where it dog-legs. Waters edge (sams bar) is at the end on the right (just before the canal bridge) Plenty of parking space there. Did some-one say you can join BRISA on the night? If so, i`ll bring my wonga.
  19. ....looking at the photo, Steven Reid looks like he wasn`t about to back down!
  20. The best thing that could happen in Sconny Botland would be for another team (i.e Hearts/ Hibs) to win the SPL. It`s been too predictable for years. The last team to have won the SPL (apart from the Old Firm) was back in 1985, when Alex Ferguson`s Aberdeen won it. The Old Firm are choking the life out of Scottish football. Here`s a list of the last 21 SPL season winners....(the last time someone else won it!) 1985: Aberdeen 1986: Celtic Glasgow 1987: Rangers 1988: Celtic Glasgow 1989: Rangers 1990: Rangers 1991: Rangers 1992: Rangers 1993: Rangers 1994: Rangers 1995: Rangers 1996: Rangers 1997: Rangers 1998: Celtic Glasgow 1999: Rangers 2000: Rangers 2001: Celtic Glasgow 2002: Celtic Glasgow 2003: Rangers 2004: Celtic Glasgow 2005: Rangers Boring Boring Boring
  21. ....After 6 home games each:- Rovers average attendance is 19467 Wigans average attendance is 19605 ...so Wigan take the lead again with an average of +138 ....................................................................... The total attendances for each club are:- Rovers ...116806 Wigan ...117632 (a difference of 826) ....................................................................... Next home games for both clubs are:- Rovers v Everton (3rd Dec) Wigan v Arsenal (19th Nov) ....both potential big gates, but Wigans game is a 12.45 k/o (live on SKY??)
  22. That`s why i thought the camera`s are in the JW stand.....sun glare on camera lenses. I may be wrong though.
  23. Excellent post Billinge End Blue!! Maybe a 'trial' period of unrestricted seating in the BBE for league cup games?? See if it creates problems...or improves the atnosphere?
  24. With all Rangers problems at the moment, they`ll still finish 2nd in the league, cos it`s all going t1ts up at Hearts who are in grave danger of beocoming a laughing stock. Celtic will win a very poor league by quite some way this year....in my view.
