On the topic of Rovers attracting more asian fans to Ewood...i was in an asian owned pizza shop the other week & they had some 'free' asian newspapers on the counter (i forget the name of the paper). This paper had quite a large asian football section which was sponsored by Rovers There was also alot of BRFC advertisements throughout the rag, about season tickets & matchday offers etc....

Rovers average attendance after 5 home games is 19823 Wigans average attendance after 6 home games is 19605 ...so Rovers go into the lead again with a margin of 218 .......................................................................................................... Just for informations sake, both Rovers & Wigan have played Fulham & Newcastle at home.....with Wigan having the larger crowd on each occasion. Rovers next home game is Charlton, whilst Wigan entertain the Arsenal.

An excellent description!! Just this last summer, a grey squirrel started to appear in my mums back garden. She`s absolutely chuffed to bits & puts little titbits out for it every day. She says it has even started to wait outside her patio door in the mornings for its 'breakfast'. It wont quite take the nuts out of her hand yet, but it`s getting braver every day. After 5 home games each, Rovers have fallen behind Wigan with their average attendances..... Rovers....total gates after 5 games 99115....average 19823 Wigan....total gates after 5 games 100366....average 20073 ....margin of only 250 (average) & 1251 (overall) It`s tighter than a gnats chuff!!

I didn`t go to the liverpool game, nor did i hear the chants.....i only heard about them through this messageboard (like most people on here did) If i would`ve been at the game, i wouldn`t have joined in the chants, but i personally don`t have a problem with it.

That`s because tickets are expensive. I only get paid so much per month & i have to budget/balance my incomings & outgoings. It`s pretty simple, if money is tight, i don`t go to the match. BRFC don`t pay my bills.....i do.

Footballers are seen as fair game, coz most of them are thick as pig excrement, are full of their own self importance & think with their d### instead of their brains. If i was a footballer, i`d make these slappers sign a 'consent form' before going anywhere with them......it could be a part of the foreplay! ...to take it one step further, i`d ask the pretty lady if she didn`t mind the 'action' being filmed by my solicitor....just in case! lol! ....or to simply avoid all the hassle/red tape, why not just pay for the sex....like Wayne Rooney does!!!!!!!!

"Jansen, where`s your helmet?" chants about Keegan getting batted in that lovers lane Turkish players getting booed (tugay) Argies getting booed Songs about Flitcrofts extra-marital activities Munich 58 Hillsborough Heysel Bradford fire Jack Walker dying Pineapple heads ....i could go on. It`s football, it`s life. These type of un-PC chants have been around for years. It`s what they call banter. It`s designed to put players out of their stride/off their game/or just plain ripping the p1ss. Granted, the Cisse chant was in bad taste, but it`s no worse than a lot of things i`ve heard over the years. Blackburn fans don`t have a bad reputation......infact they don`t even register in most football fans minds, because we are seen as a small club, with a poor support. get over the chant & move on......

...Is that the Daily Mirror who printed fake photo`s of British troops torturing Iraqis.....thus enraging the arab nation & putting thousands of our troops lives at risk? Me thinks they have double standards with their reporting. ....Plus, what`s all this demonisation of the Rovers support all about? In every crowd gathering where-ever in the world, you will get lots of different opinions. Some people will always shout louder & be more extreme than others. You cannot tell me that Liverpool fans have never been involved in chants about Munich or been involved in crowd violence....because they are the best fans in the whole wide world! Every team in the world has it`s own element of d1ckheads/troublemakers....thankfully Rovers don`t have that many.

Could it be that the people who chanted "Cisse....how`s your leg?" were genuinely asking him how his leg is?? Maybe Blackburn fans are actually very caring people & this chant was a genuine attempt to pass on their best wishes??

Wigan attracted 22374 to the JJB today, ...upping their average home crowd from 19498 to 20073....(an increase of 575) Rovers are still slightly ahead with an average of 20193 per game. Not wanting to put a downer on things, but our next home game is against Brum, with a 13.30 kick-off (is it on TV??) i can forsee a crowd barely touching 20k for that one.
