Huge goal for Everton, and a huge one to nudge Burnley closer to the drop if they can hold out 5 minutes or so

Is it wrong that I punched the air when that went in? All of a sudden Burnley are 4 points off safety, no longer have games in hand and have city next up.

  2. Another dismal home draw for Bournemouth. First peterborough, now Reading. They've dropped so many points against poor teams it's incredibly frustrating that we haven't capitalized. If we had scored those pens against sheff and bristol we'd be 6 points better off and right up their backsides.

Delighted with the QPR and Bournemouth losses today.

Well done Preston for beating Bournemouth.

We got away with it today for sure. A pretty limp dick performance at fulham, but it hasn't cost us a whole heap. And a difficult run of games is over now. We have some winnable fixtures coming up and alot of the teams around us will be playing each other..

Old fat head has lost again, Andy Carroll is a waste of space on £30k a week.

Glad we never signed Obafemi too, give me Gally any day of the week.

Looks like Chaddys wba prediction is coming true. Fair play on that one, did not pick it myself!!

Bruce on the other hand was entirely predictable. 1 point from 5 games. Stealing a living at newcastle and then got all the media sympathy when he was rightly potted

Says something about this league when Huddersfield are.3rd. Very poor team

Exactly! And that's the point isn't it? When you consider that the other team around us QPR are also an extremely average side, especially away from home, why shouldn't we be top 6? Why shouldn't we challenging for automatic? Yes we've had a bad spell, but we let's not give up cos there are so many poor teams around!!

Me too, would bloody love it if they nosedive but I cannot see it due to their strength in depth.

There is still a chance of that imo because they are actually playing really poorly. They are scabbing results all over the place. Another late winner, this time against 10 men.

Overall another solid set of results for us today. Fulham lose, Boro lose, WBA lose (now overtaken by Luton & Coventry), QPR drop points. Sheff Utd picked up a win but can't expect every single result to go our way.

Tbh I rather think we're at the state of play that we want fulham to be beating the sides around us not the other way round. Write them off and battle for 2nd

Second May be unlikely but we shouldn’t be giving up on it, only takes a couple of results and it’s in our hands, especially with them still to play.

Weirdly as it stands out of us and any 3 in play off contention I’d fancy us least of the lot, we need that grit back

Agree with this. Bournemouth were v lucky today scabbbing a last kick of the game winner. Still don't think they are a great team under Parker.

Don't for get last 10 games or so is when form goes out the window when the bottom sides get desperate and the top sides nervous. Often the teams at the bottom have good form and the top teams poor form at the end of the season, so anything can still happen!

He didn't want to come here. Can't do anything about that. Maja might have been a different story....

Maybe if we didn't bid at half an hour before he agreed to go to Boscombe it would have been different. Ie bid at the start of the window when Dembele wouldn't have had a choice to make
