i heard on talksport that there were problems on the m1 with traffic and the way the blackburn end filled up in the 2nd half it looks like a lot missed the kick off -

-

-
or his bar bill in the dunk
-
i actually christened the bloke GOPED and did i take some stick for it,some guy lectured me in the great spanish wingers and what do we get, some bodella/matador/waiter/senor who lookes like he wrote to' jim'll fix it for me'to get a game in the premiership

well from my vantage point in the jw lower darwen end side,i have had the misfortune off watching yorke limber up many times,he does for some silly reason take an age with his stretching, but he always enjoys a bit off banter with the away fans. the utd fans used to give him the full works, songs of priase and a bit off ribbing about jordan and pete andre.i have also seen him take plenty off stick from other fans, calling him, abusing him which he just brushed off with his whiter than white smile. i am in two minds wether yorke used the events off sunday,to gain publicity or to deflect from the serious bad reception he deserved.the thing is any football fan who is in there 30/40's has been in crowds were taunting off black player's was the norm.most would have joined in,i know i did - but these days are long gone
-
a grand fine, jesus some people kill and get less.fair play to the guy for pleading guilty,it's one sunday afternoon he won't forget
-
so thats dave and jay from mmmmmmmmmm somewhere in between london and birmingham that posh area, with the posh accent not cockney but posher. well tried lads but you did not put pc plod off the trial,1864 will be didtraught
-
the lads picture has been on tv, in papers and still no rovers fans know him.i would bet that the seat he was sat in was not his,he most probably sat down the front so he could get on telly/or had upset someone were he had sat previously and thought if i go back there i get snotted. at the end off the day,one drunken youth has got himself in the spotlight, but the others who joined in are only as guilty as yorke
-
from what i have seen and read it was one over excited youth, worse the wear for alcohol and a few gobby one's who joined in when yorke went over to give the youth a piece of his mind. weather this drunken rovers fan was racially abusing yorke remians to be seen,i have seen the incident twice and cannot make it out.but what is definate, there was not 30-300-3000 racially abusing yorke.if our club is to dragged through the mire for 1 or 2 drunken idiots, its a poor do
-
the point i am getting over is raciasm happens at ewood, and in blackburn, its not news it happens every day.
-
i spoke to dunny the summer before we finished 6th,he told me then he was not going to sign a new contract with the rovers,i asked if there was a change off manager would he sign again,'not much chance off that' he replied. did he answer to the contract or manager

just read through 12 pages off comments and this is the one i wanted to post, saw it on ssn and when i saw yorke doing the funky chicken in front off the camera's i nearly wet myself. i will not apoligise for what went on yesterday,as most people living in blackburn knows it goes on-why do you think we only get .0000001 % off the asian population coming to ewood, they get abused, black players get abused. when a recent spate off muggings were going on in blackburn in the small hours off the morning it was a gang of youths, when they were caught it was reported in the let they were all asians, all the victims were white, were they raciast attacks or muggings

all hughes can do till jan is try and juggle his defender's and find a sound unit.you cannot suddenley make bad players good, all you can do is coach them to the best of your ability.all the brum goals were at the far end from me,they looked very soft goals, but the 2nd half the defence played reasonably well -

20,290 is a lot better than i thought, brum brought 500 tops so we had 19.5k home fans,we should do the same for the spuds game, better opposition, bigger away following and more time to talk folk round -

was chatting in the boozer last night and the subject of the ewood mole came up. my mate was convinced alan nixon was always in the 100 club,in the late 80's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we used to go for a pint before the pubs were opened,he reckoned we used to chat to alan nixon in the 100 club.he reckoned nixon was a portly guy,i could not remenber these meetings-too much alcohol -too many world cups.but if his recollection's are true, and nixon's scoops on the rovers which have always been near the button. the plot thickens -
a week has passed since tony parkes got the bullet, and the 'ewood mole' is still at large, surely it is in the best intrests off the club to unearth this mole.my money is on rob coar, you can't trust burnley fans

[Archived] Poll - Falling Attendances.
waggy replied to Tris's topic in Football Messageboard Archive
tris must be a spin doctor or bloody ###### when he wrote those figures,i reckon every footie fan [apart from tris] knows football on tv has hit saturation point. i used to look forward to seeing,pne/preston/blackpool/burnley on tv,i could not even be bothered turning the telly over last night.jack frost or pne! this weekend there will be something like 7- 10 games on tv,far too many.i will watch one today and that will most probably be the rugger -

with brum being one off the poorer away followings at ewood, plus the game being telivised and the fans who are dissillusioned after tp's sacking. we could be heading for a poor gate on sunday,i have asked a couple off polish lads at work if they fancy going, taking advantage off the cheap tickets, they said they are going to watch the game in the pub-they are really living the english life -
