At the back end of last season when everything was against us and relegation looked certain i jumped on the band waggon and said i wanted Souness sacked. But when we got that 4-5 game good run together certain people started to change their opinion and decided souness should stay, but my opinion never changed ever since it all went pair shaped last season i have wanted him sacked and yesterday proved what an idiot he is. Gresko is never a centre-midfielder in a million years but at least he tried, Emerton is no way a right wing back even though i fail to see what position he can actually play- he's crap! The only good thing that came out of yesterday's performance was that Yorke seems to have realised he can play well and be a class act and Dickov who played like he was a local lad and had supported the team since he was little. Cmon Souness stop thinking you're the tinker man and sort it out!

I thought he was going to get alot longer than that and he deserved alot longer to. One moment of madness has wrecked his whole footballing career.

This is very interesting. I have just been told now by one of my friends about this and he wasn't happy at all about it. Some people may disagree with me but i think we are going to do much better this year without him, but this is besides the point about his wages, if this 50/50 thing is happening then GS must be out of his mind its more like a loan deal than a transfer move. All Andy Cole is, he's a money grabber he only plays football not for the love of it just for the financial side of it, if he had any what people call "passion" for Blackburn then he would have been against this and either carried on playing for us or just though forget it i will leave without my cheque. I think it's really just because we are in pre-season and football topics either to do with Rovers or other football clubs are rare. When we get into the season i think the quality will pick up and we will start seeing more consructive posts.

It's easy to say that, try think of a couple of exciting players that could sign for Rovers and i come to 0! we have put our expectations to high for signing we are not going to get players with better abillity than the players we have now.

In a way you are right but really Ranieri hasn't had enough time, at the start of the season Mr Abramovich said it doesn't matter if you dont win silverwear because the team need time to gel and get used to the way each other plays so i think Abramovich needs to cut Ranieri some slack and give him the time that he deserves.
