those of you who are from blackburn are being too hard on youselves. for the size of the town we get great support. celtic would have to get crowds of over 300,000 to better us. the real question here is the big one. how does a small town club with several other local teams get enough of a crowd to sustain premiership football? answers on a postcard to ewood park. only good thing is that even if celtic did get 300,000 crowds they would still not be in our league :'>

if we REALLY want to see new support blooded then it is inevitable that that support will initially try to get to see the big games first. this should and must be ENCOURAGED not put down. only in this way can we hope to become big enough in the long run to remain a premiership side. games like this give us that chance. we should have given celtic less seats and ENCOURAGED floaters, part timers and neutrals to come and see our fantastic product. a few will be hooked. ticket conditions could state anyone identified as an away supporter WILL BE KICKED OUT. any celts attending without colours and keeping quiet IF they score could be tolerated - after all, we do have some manners don't we? as long as the brfc staff acted for once i cannot see why this wouldn't work. we have been cutting our throats by being so restrictive with ticket sales AND CAN NO LONGER AFFORD TO DO SO. i was at the city game like most of you here and it was the only time i have left ewood early BUT WE MUST NOT LET THOSE MANC SCUM LET US PUT OUR FUTURE PREM PLACE AT RISK. do we want to grow as a club or not?
