[Archived] Rovers Uefa Cup Coverage?AndyH16 replied to spencey7's topic in Football Messageboard Archive Ok, who sabotaged the lights just because they couldn't find a stream of the game?

[Archived] Footy Manager 06AndyH16 replied to benhben's topic in I Can't Believe It's Not Football Archive I used to have Felipe in my team, had some great moments at AMC. I've been buying too many foreign players too, even my Assistant Manager is Brazilian But I recently grabbed an english DC from Portsmouth, they have a few gems in their youth team.

[Archived] Sheffield United 0 Blackburn Rovers 0AndyH16 replied to ihtd's topic in Football Messageboard Archive I hate having to pay for this shoddy matchlive service. Missed the first 5 mins of the game.

Well...I think I'd have rather watched the Germany v San Marino game

That was shocking and just looked worse with every angle they showed on MOTD.

	That sounds like a plan

So then, to the people who bought the home shirt, was it worth it? I'm thinking of ordering one later on.

[Archived] So Just Where Are All The Ex-rovers?AndyH16 replied to FourLaneBlue's topic in Football Messageboard Archive Whatever happened to Colin Hendry? The last I heard he was sacked from Blackpool if I remember right. Wasn't his son in the Blackburn kids team (I'm sure that's not it's official title ) or something?

[Archived] Wayne Rooney, role Model?AndyH16 replied to Mr Maureen's topic in Football Messageboard Archive It didn't help that there was a similiar incident seconds ealier involving a Porto player which went unpunished.

Sorry if it's been mentioned before but the Bet24 logo on the front of the home shirt is it flexible (probably not the right word but you know what I mean) or just like a lump of cardboard?

[Archived] Help RequiredAndyH16 replied to ihateburnley's topic in I Can't Believe It's Not Football Archive When you're saying P4 fan, do you mean the heatsink fan that sits on top of the processor? It's been a while since I've last fitted one but surely a P4 heatsink would even fit a AMD processor? I'm pretty sure they had different hooks to fit it to the motherboard, although the motherboard probably supports both just not sure if the actual chip would sit right.

[Archived] Watch The Wc At WorkAndyH16 replied to Jim J's topic in I Can't Believe It's Not Football Archive I watched a bit of the first half from work as I had to work late. I put it into 200% view and it was watchable and didn't skip once. I think it's a nifty addition but any real fans of footy will find a TV

[Archived] Help RequiredAndyH16 replied to ihateburnley's topic in I Can't Believe It's Not Football Archive AMD processors tend to sit warmer than the Intel's, sometimes around 10 degrees more.

[Archived] Help RequiredAndyH16 replied to ihateburnley's topic in I Can't Believe It's Not Football Archive Hehe no worries, as you're running XP it's slightly easier - unless you've installed WinZip it should use the one included with XP to view zip files. Download the file, double click it and in the window that pops up it should show the files inside, click File > Extract All, it'll then come up with a wizard asking where you want them saving - ignore the Password button, click Next once you've chosen somewhere to save it. Then leave the tick in the box that says Show Extracted Files and click Next, the window will pop up with the file you've just extracted. Pop the floppy disk in the drive and double click on the install.bat file.

[Archived] Help RequiredAndyH16 replied to ihateburnley's topic in I Can't Believe It's Not Football Archive So, does the game freeze as in the system completely halts and you can't do a single thing or do you get blue screens? If you get blue screens does the PC reboot if you press a key or just not respond? FM is a very processor intensive game it might well be overheating, although if it's happening on a simple driving test program that would seem weird. Which is what makes me lean towards a memory problem. My sister's PC recently had problems of constant blue screens. I got a copy of http://www.memtest86.com/ which is free, as long as you have a spare floppy disk to install it on. http://www.memtest86.com/memt32.zip is a direct link to the program, extract it somewhere and then double click the install.bat file which creates the bootable disk. Reboot the PC and boot to the floppy disk it'll then go straight into the tests (there's about 8 test, usually takes about 30 mins depending on PC spec). If you have any RAM problems this will show them up, the odd 1 or 2 errors is ok but my sister's had 1000's. The test will just keep repeating itself until you quit the program (pressing Esc).

[Archived] Footy Manager 06AndyH16 replied to benhben's topic in I Can't Believe It's Not Football Archive Hmm you mean he was still in the game but once this happened could you attempt to sign him again? I'm wondering what database size you run off?
