  1. May've been posted, but teamtalk now confirming that Hughes has said that gamst will be out for a minimum of two weeks.
  2. In seasons past he may not have (except ewood 2-0 maybe), when they've had the likes of Vieira winning every midfield battle. This season they've been appaling away from home. They won't like coming to places like Ewood Park. It should be Savage/Reid/Tugay licking their lips for this game.
  3. Tugay looked class from the extended highlights I saw on sky. That pass for Reid was world class. Thought that Arca looked pretty good for Sunderland, if he could keep discilpined at left back then he could be a replacement for Gray.
  4. Maybe football manager is right then
  5. I also looked at them figures with some discomfort Exiled Rover. Surely they aren't accurate? Mokoena and Nelsen (the latter would deserve it though) on 25k a week, Sav 48k, Bellers 50k. flitcroft always used to be in the early 20's as did Freidel.
  6. I know weve been very fortunate with keepers, Flowers, Friedel, Filan etc, but you cant help but think what a shocker our management hjad when they let Shay go. Surely they could see how good he was?!
  7. How can we not create 1 decent chance against ten men!? as others have said que a stead goal on weds.
  8. wow, I really didnt see that coming?!
  9. Everton never ever let a 1-0 lead slip....so I'll stick my neck out and say that they'll hold it.
  10. Thing is Joey pound for pound I bet that Bret is one of our fastest players. The damn bloke just never blimmin shows it!!
  11. It amazes me how fickle we all are with regards to Tugay. I admit...I'm one of these people myself. One week he's strolling into our "legends" category, the next week he's a "liability" who shouldn't get a new deal!!! For me lets remember the good times if he does go in the summer.
  12. Think the two worst things about todays performance by all accounts is our bad defending, again, and our inability to create one proper chance against a relegation threatened club.
  13. What the hell is going on with our defence at the moment? Apart from Nelsen and Neil were shipping goals left right and centre. Hopefuly we'll get Tugay and Kuqi off. That lads inability at this level is really causing concern, apparently even Savage made a negative/funny comment about him to the media the other day as well.
  14. Please let it be that we didn't want to rush Bellers back as opposed to he's broken down AGAIN! Comon Rovers!!!
  15. Wahey! we wont have Londsdale wrote twice on our shirts!
  16. Just hope we dont get stuck in a rut of defeats now...the Manc game couldnt be coming at a worse time.
  17. Its either a striker in before Tuesday or a frustrating end to a season. By the sounds of things our defending was woeful, and it highlights the need for the Admiral to stay fit. He must have had a knock today...surely?
  18. I take back every compliment Ive ever given Zurab
  19. Lets throw one of our strikers on!...sorry couldnt resist. Comon we cant go out of two cups in the space of 4 days!!!
  20. True flopsy! He isnt getting any younger. Just think that without Tugay and Bellamy we'll struggle to create anything. I'd certainlt take a 1-1 or something.
  21. Nelsen has dropped to the bench and so has Tugay! Tood and Mokoena in. Our one true source of creativity has been dropped...aiming for a draw are we?
  22. Brilliant idea by Rovers after the shambles of this seasons shirts. lets hope their better quality as well. Home 2 away 3 for me.
  23. Good observation on smith mate, I almost forgot how big a to$$er that guy was last night!!! The lad is a lying/dirty tit: "I love Leeds, I'd never go to Utd" Yeh right Alan. How on earth he didnt get a red card in the 1st leg was a joke. Im tempted to send in my CV for the strikers position just so I can lamp that git in the tunnel next week.
  24. Good performance from us, and it does make you proud to be a Rover. I was so confident of a win if Bellers was playing, but when I saw the team sheet it made you think "what hope do we have at OT with one very ordinary striker (compliment) and one withdrawn striker/midfielder. The writing was on the wall. Bellamy is so important to us that its crazy. If we don't have a striker by sat and Bellers isn't fit (very likely) then chances are that were going to be sent packing. I just hope that this defeat doesn't cause us to go on a bad run, but with our current set of strikers I just cannot see us scoring enough. Final note though, as someone else said, its been years since weve seen 11 players wearing their hearts on their sleevs...its great to see.
  25. Got a really good feeling about this one too. Don't know how were going to get to the final...but we will!!! Utd 0 Rovers 1
