Well I don’t think anyone saw this coming at 2-0 down! I still feel far from confident, but fair play to the lads for getting us back in this one as I didn’t think it would be remotely possible.

Six defeats in seven after tonight. Most concerning is our form is getting worst despite the ‘we’ll put it right’ nonsense that the manager and players keep churning out. For the past couple of matches the players look like they’ve just met in the car park before each game.

I can only speak for this season’s model, which is players with resale value only (or cheap loans).

Said it before on here, but I’ve been told by someone who would know, that Venky’s will only sanction money for players with resale value. Whether Broughton is ‘on board’ with it I don’t know, but the model is all Venky’s.

On the face of it, potentially a good bit of business. However, and it’s a bit however, I know that’s a position that JDT wanted/wants experience in, so it leaves me to wonder how happy he’ll be with this continued model of only signing players with resale value.

I have a funny feeling we’ll lose.

Not that anyone is covering themselves in glory right now, but why has James Hill randomly been dropped for the past few matches? Been one of our best players this season for me. Our other loanee, gets in regardless of the stinkers he drops week in week out.

I smelt a death spiral a few weeks ago as I said. Games continuing to come thick and fast. I reckon I’ll be right unfortunately - hard to see where sudden improvement comes from.
