Arteta has shown that you need to be ruthless with goalkeepers. JDT should have been playing Leo the minute he joined. As a consequence of not doing so, we’ve conceded countless goals. If Pears is in the sticks for the next league game then JDT wants sacking on the spot.

Not going to argue with the general point, but we still weren’t coming back from behind to win when Brereton was scoring regularly (save for the referenced Millwall game of course).

From what we’ve seen so far, and from what Plymouth fans have said, I don’t think Ennis will ever stay fit. Gallagher too plays a handful of games then is out for another 8 weeks. To be reliant on those two is a damning indictment of where we’re at. Hopefully Sigurdsson comes good but he’s never scored lots of goals - more of a wide forward as I understand it.

Whichever front 3 anyone on here selects, it’s dreadful. Dolan, Markanday, Hedges - not good enough. Leonard should be on loan in L1 or coming through gradually from the bench. I’ll be stunned if Semir comes good this season. For the millionth time, thanks Venkys.

This isn’t just a Tomasson’s Rovers issue. It’s been going on for years. Once we’re behind it’s pretty much lights out. How we came from behind against Millwall to win when it didn’t matter said a lot about our mentality.

I have a funny feeling Semir isn’t going to be the answer to our prayers if JDT didn’t fancy him for more than 10 mins when we were desperate for goals and had no other bugger who looked remotely likely.

I must say, if he truly believes our summer business was great, like he says, then he wants sectioning.
