I can only speak for this season’s model, which is players with resale value only (or cheap loans).

Said it before on here, but I’ve been told by someone who would know, that Venky’s will only sanction money for players with resale value. Whether Broughton is ‘on board’ with it I don’t know, but the model is all Venky’s.

On the face of it, potentially a good bit of business. However, and it’s a bit however, I know that’s a position that JDT wanted/wants experience in, so it leaves me to wonder how happy he’ll be with this continued model of only signing players with resale value.

I have a funny feeling we’ll lose.

Not that anyone is covering themselves in glory right now, but why has James Hill randomly been dropped for the past few matches? Been one of our best players this season for me. Our other loanee, gets in regardless of the stinkers he drops week in week out.

Easy to criticise Benson, but whilst it may seem ‘trendy’ to punch these days, it’s regularly costing us points, so someone needs to coach this kid to actually catch a bloody ball. It’s not like he isn’t tall so can’t leap with both arms. Our lack of quality between the sticks is galling.
