  1. Crouch should have been left on the couch - sh1te! The new Ian Ormondroyd. Tall forwards are generally rubbish. The only quality ones I've had the privilege to watch are Messrs Newell and Sutton. I thank you. PS Re Newell - still the fastest hat trick in European Cup history and (off topic) an unforgettable performance at Ewood v Derby in the play offs.
  2. Then don't go to the 'This Is So Funny......' thread.
  3. Stay on topic Al.....you can put yer jalopy in a garage, but we're talking about lush green sward here.
  4. I'll pass this on to Derek Leaver - could be the answer to all our problems.
  5. Just watch out for them nocturnal Killer BT fighting ducks Bob.
  6. What are currently the cheapest and dearest Prem tickets?
  7. Sorry off topic again... You might have spoken too soon Colin. There's a flock of over 200 Canada geese close to Rishton Reservoir. It's only a matter of time before the buggers are causing bother.
  8. Who are the real fans then Andy? Are they a moving target?
  9. Philip Drop me a PM when you're next in Blighty ASAP. Job's a good un.
  10. Until the players wages issue is tackled, we're all pissing in the wind.
  11. They don't mind cats. I'll class your other suggestions as non-humane.
  12. Is there a humane way to stop these pests digging holes in lawns?
  13. Alan Thats stretching it a tad, but a diehard Blue friend of mine regularly travels to Ewood from Leicester. I can put you in touch if you like.
  14. McC Going via Ormskirk (fer spuds ). PM me for a meet up time either in t'city centre or Anfield way near t'Midden.
  15. This is the type of incentive which BRFC would do well to adopt to some degree.
  16. Barry Hole - did he ever play just behind the front two?
  17. Syd Puddefoot (BRFC).
  18. Very good full page interview in The Sunday Times with Hughesy.
  19. Secretary at Bury FC and father of the Neville brothers - Neville Neville.
  20. Steve Death and Keith Fear were part of the early 80's Reading side.
  21. Lee, Bob, still off topic... Fernhurst Farm will be a copper feed for Broadband but it is unlikely to be available until new year because BT are having to give the council 28 days notice to clear a blocked duct in town. However an engineer has mistakenly connected a copper 'Red Care' only feed to one house. At least one other lucky resident has accessed Broadband using this connection with a wireless router.
