  1. I don't have Sky! No serious, there have been times when i have jumped off the settee yes!
  2. Maybe so Tony, not the way it should be though!
  3. Every team has a LOCAL rival who they sing about! Burnley is about 10 miles away! They sing about us aswell. Another example is Luton & Watford, it's exactly the same, not in the same league but songs fly about all the time! There's nothing wrong with it!
  4. I'll give you an example Bryan, When the ball is in the box or when a cross flies over the majority of fans of whatever club you can think of will stand up! Just watch any football programme if you dont believe me! and there have been occasions when i've been sat down and people behind me have been stood, i don't insist on standing throughout the whole game!
  5. If you'd have read earlier posts of mine you will know that I would rather stand (not necessarily all the game) but if asked politely then i would have no problem with sitting down. What annoys me is people who say things like "Oi, Sit" etc so therefore I DO respect people's wishes. The point I was making was in response to your reply to Hughesy's post - There's nothing wrong with a bit of banter and a laugh, after all we are all there to enjoy ourselves!
  6. Lets all sit there politely, dont sing songs about our friends in Burnley, Don't swear, Don't have banter with opposing fans....let's all be boring like it probably is in Sydney!
  7. No matter how much people on here talk about it, Standing is ALWAYS going to be an issue at football grounds, wether it be Rovers, Man Utd or whoever. I for one would rather stand up and do especially if I can't see because the people in front of me are standing. I don't ask them to sit because it doesn't bother me personally. If I am able to see sat down and somebody politely asks me to sit then i will do but I don't respond to people who say "Oi, Sit"

    New Song?

I've heard that a new song was doing the rounds at Norwich regarding our Dingle friends?! If so how did it go...?
  9. i don't suppose you need to stand up to block people's view!
  10. I think the worst 2 by far are Davies & Ward... Ward just shades it as the worst for me. Obviously I can only speak in my own experience which is around 14 years. Egil was OK.
  11. I have now been offered a ticket. Apparently there were some spare from the ones they keep behind for the players families etc.
  12. I've just sent in an email regarding that Liam coz one minute it said on the website there was more if required then it just basically said "This game has now been sold out" I wasn't sure whether I could go or not but didn't think there was any rush!
  13. nice to see that the stewards/police didn't try making the back of block NO1 sit down this time!
  14. Sorry it's £26 The girl on the Ticket line at Norwich gave me the wrong info.
  15. Tickets will be £29 !!!
  16. Good old Div.1 grounds eh!! happy days!
  17. The worst ground view I have had at an away ground is Grimsby. We were sat on the next to back row and had to crouch down when play was at the other end - Won 4-1 that day though so there was something to smile about at least!!!
  18. Not unless you happened to live next door to it and they began demolition at 1 in the morning. I can vouch for Luton's ground being in that list (if not the worst stadium in Britain) as it truly is a dump. It's sort of hidden in amongst tonnes of terraced houses, feels like you're sitting in a warehouse with corrugated iron everywhere, the food's awful - think it was £1.50 for a bag of crisps as well - the fan's are, generally, bullies and, until recently, the football there has been dire. A ringing endorsment, as you can see... I think your going a little over the top there Tango... I've been on Kenilworth Rd a few times recently (Friend's team) and yes it's a bit of a dump but no way is it the worst stadium in Britain!! I've seen much worse in the lower divisions.
  19. It was near full a year or 2 ago when the U21's were last at Ewood.
  20. There should be quite a few people (like myself) who will buy tickets tonight just before the game, that should push the gate up another thousand or so...
  21. I don't think Rovers are in a position to refuse entry to someone who appears to be 'frauding' the system. There are few enough people turning up as it is. so i think they'd rather someone be paying a concession price rather than not at-all! Most of the stewards are dozy sods anyway and probably wouldn't notice the red & green flashing together, not that they will be arsed anyway! People get away with it all the time. Well lets all get in for free .maybe we will get a sell out crowd eh. I didn't say free, I said Adults on concession tickets (1/2 price!) Doubt we would sell out even if it was free!!!
