  1. I don't think Rovers are in a position to refuse entry to someone who appears to be 'frauding' the system. There are few enough people turning up as it is. so i think they'd rather someone be paying a concession price rather than not at-all! Most of the stewards are dozy sods anyway and probably wouldn't notice the red & green flashing together, not that they will be arsed anyway! People get away with it all the time.
  2. 11,000 have been sold according to the girl I spoke to at the ticket office.
  3. Just been looking at the official site which was telling people to buy their tickets for U21's sooner rather than later so I phoned the ticket office to see whether i should buy my tickets before the day of the game, incase they all go. The girl on the phone said "well we have sold...(WAIT FOR IT)....11,000 so i don't think we'll sell out" !! Poor turnout it seems...
  4. I wasn't slagging people off Abbey, just stating that if the Chelsea fans are prepared to pay that then why are they going to reduce their prices? If anything they will put them up. The only 'cheap' tickets they do is for cup matches and even then they're £20!
  5. Prices for home fans are between £38 & £48. Chelsea fans must be keen!
  6. Obviously that's not something they need to worry about Abbey.
  7. Thing with Chelsea is that they can charge whatever they want and still the ground would be full every week! I don't blame them for charging £40.
  8. "Is this sky just making the story up? We have heard nothing official have we? " We never hear anything official! You should know what they're like by now!!
  9. Limited places at the top of Kirby Rd (off Bolton Rd, opposite Quik Save) Residents area but there's a bit they missed round the corner from the houses - Park there free and walk down the footpath to the ground.
  10. Yeah i'll probably go. I don't think the U21 game we had here last year sold out.
  11. I can't remember Watford ever being in the Premier League. When was that?
  12. Yes im happy with the appointment, Good to see that most other people on here are aswell

  17. i'd be happy with that Brownie, would be interested to know if it IS true
  18. I wouldn't mind Mike Newell, I know he's in League1 at the moment but he's doing a good job with Luton. I'd like to see Hughesy otherwise. I'm wondering who will take temporary charge until the new manager comes in - Parkes again?
