  1. Moobs is worse than Groundhog Gaz. The Swansea, Stoke, Liverpool thing really saved the 2015 season.
  2. Quick! Get the nurse to check the Bronsometer.
  3. This could be a real diar game for the neutral. Yes diarrhoea.
  4. It was a really poor league as I recall. Further evidenced by the fact that all 3 teams that went down came straight back up.
  5. For your sake I hope you just got one for the first half.?
  6. 4 mins of BBC highlights isn't long enough to fit them all in. Winter is coming here
  7. Are Birmingham reserves the worst team we've ever lost to? They started brightly - though only had a couple of long range shots to show for it (albeit our sack of spuds keeper turned one of those into a goal). After that Brum were diabolical for 70 minutes.
  8. The cricket has picked up since the Rovers game finished.
  9. Our game should have kicked off at 12:32.
  10. I'm gonna snowflake out and ask if the snowflakes could put the poll back up. Tony is NOT going to win the election with 90% approval rating no matter what your Twitter followers tell you ?
  11. With Brereton trying to stand on Armstrong's heels then moving into position to block the other side of the goal to Armstrong. Benny Hill music for that one.
  12. For those of you that didn't watch the game. The misses really were that bad, the goalkeeping error really was that bad. Enough to make a YouTube bloopers video.
  13. Eaves scored a hat-trick today. He looks like Alan Shearer compared to what we've got.
  14. Utter shite. Only way we can score is from a penalty. That game typified what we all knew. That we desperately need a new striker and a goalkeeper. That can not be blamed on injuries.
  15. It's been like watching Laurel and Hardy up front.
  16. I'm actually still right. Pope has played more T20 games than first class games. Where he has a decent middle order average and swashbuckling strike rate of over 136. If I include one day games in his stats he's played double the amount of one day games compared to Championship ones. He showcased his T20 upbringing and class with his scoops over the wicket-keeper for Six and Four late in today's test match.
  17. Yet another player brought up on and good at T20.
  18. Although it's obviously a massive loss. It's worth remembering that in the clamour to give Tony T an excuse for being crap for the rest of the season, Dack played every game of our previous winless streak (6 games).
  19. Why the feck isn't Stuart Broad batting at no.11 yet? He must be close to being the worst non-number 11 in history.
  20. I saw a few people on BBC Test Match Special complaining about Dominic Bess's inclusion in the team. But what else were people expecting? What's the alternative? Parkinson perhaps? Though he was poor in the warm up game and batting wise is another number 11 in the same mould as Archer, Broad and Anderson. Meanwhile it looks like Root is starting to develop a short ball problem. His dismissal was like watching Bunny Broad. I hope he's in the nets right now working on it.
  21. As I've already said. Continually bowling short as the go to tactic regardless of the situation - a tactic that has continually led to England losing session after session. That's coming from the coaches right? Or do you think Root has 100% control over all aspects? Add in some bizarre coin toss decisions. Surely that's decided as a group before the game? Or does Root just wing that too? Whilst we're on Root. What's his obsession with playing football pre-game? Even Ashley Giles wanted to bin that as it's 'dangerous'. As for the county set-up. It's true that the ECB seem to have pushed it aside as they focus on their cash cows. Though there are a number of contradictions here in regards to the excuses given. Firstly, not so long ago county cricket used to be less competitive with just the one league and almost half a season of mostly dead rubbers. It also used to be played over just 3 days (then there was the period where they would play the one day game on the Sunday) in the middle of a Championship game - finishing it off on the Monday. Yet during that time the England team in general didn't collapse as they have done in recent years. Overseas players (including the decent ones that play for their countries) have regularly stated that the standard of the county championship has been pretty decent/competitive. The pitches may well be sub standard and a bit bowler friendly. But (to give a recent example). Labuschagne was playing on the same crappy pitches - and he came straight into the Ashes team and turned into the new Steve Smith. Can't use the T20 as an excuse either. As all countries have their own domestic T20 competition. And if, as you say, England players don't need coaching then why even bother with coaches at all? Should they get rid of all the hangers on - including the nonsensical sports scientists and the sympathy jobs such as James Taylor's England selector post. Let the captain pick the team sort out all the tactics?
  22. We just need one big change. Just one. Here's hoping ?
