I really couldn't care less for any player that no longer plays for us. Any rumours of any more incomings? Personal opinion is VI is exactly what we needed, he's trying to make us a more progressive team, he cant buy champ proven as outside our budget, he has to look for foreign bargains.. I think current team (Rudy and VI) are doing ok.. ultimately time will tell, but I woild rather live a life with some risk than trying to squeeze existing lemons within an inch of the lives.

Could Gerrard by our Souness? There's a part of me thinks he could then another part that thinks bit like the likes of Roy Keane, they are just not tactful and caressing enough for the modern day player... ie players and people these days need loads of carrot with a tiny bit of stick.. wheras 15yrs + back you could get away with way more stick..

Think decent business overall given our financial position (losing £10m year) and fact we generally have to sell 1 x player to mitigate losses. CB - brought in as 3rd choice, upgrade on Macfadzen ✅️ (cheap and well known to the boss) CM - in to replace 3rd choice CM that went back to Stoke, but very cheap 🟠 Pacey winger - brought in on a perm ✅️ LB - with decent pedigree to support Beck and injured Pickering ✅️ ST - big upgrade in quality striker brought in, granted its a loan but as others have mentioned no way we could afford a permanent ✅️ ST - backup striker not ideal but is there in case we have injuries and who knows 🟠 On the whole I would rate this a 7.5 out of 10 window, mainly due to overall circumstances, we are just not going to spend big money unless we have a benefactor. JE will be content, he seems calm and collected in his approach.. a man in total control. Well done Rudy also..

Personally I think if someone's core and or religious beliefs do not want to 'promote' something they should be allowed to 'stand back / be excluded'. Of course if someone is promoting hate for any group then that's a different matter altogether.

Dolan should not have been taken off, was one of our bright sparks. Best game I have seen Makhtar play, shame he couldn't grab a goal. Any team with JRC and JB in CM is going to struggle in this league. We are still in the play offs due to other results, similar to many previous seasons.. we should just change the music from 'final countdown' to 'killing me softly..'
