The fact that (per the LT) we’ve offered Hyam a 2 year deal at the same pay as his current one shows the juvenile thought process of the club. The guy played just about every minute for us last season and we expect him to take seriously an extension that values him the same as when he hasn’t kicked a ball in blue and whites yet. If that offer is true it’s disrespectful, to him to even put it on the table. No wonder neither he or the others have signed extensions.

But we’ve been poor in the attack for a while and I think part of that is down to the fact that Trav and Trondstad are both deep lying defensive minded players. Neither one provide much going forward and replacing one with a more box to box player that can help in the attack. Should they be sold, of course not the should be in competition with one another.

Here’s a very difficult question. Who is our best player come kick off on Saturday? Trav gone by then. Britain already shipped off. Dolan walked…who’s our best? And come kick off on Saturday would that player even make the bench for our opponents who just got promoted from league 1

From the board room to the pitch the club seem full of people in positions beyond their abilities. Rudy doesn’t have this job anywhere else in the championship. Pasha doesn’t get hired to run any other club in the FA. Half our players are either kids or foreigners who have not produced at this level. Anyone who can’t see the entire club is below this level needs their head examined.

Honestly there wasn’t a good scoring opportunity the entire game. The penalty would have been an unexpected benefit as it was just work rate. As you say Ohashi’s one chance was a half chance at best. The rest we couldn’t muster anything that looked remotely threatening. No crosses, no free kicks, nothing from long range, nothing in behind, no combinations around their box…literally nothing close to creating a chance.

It will be better with Cantwell in for Axel. Need a serious upgrade on hedges. The fact Miller has to tell him (a 30 year old man)where to go and when to go speaks volumes. Kargbo was a handful and has to start, though he is a bit undisciplined defending. Deal next week could be an absolute thrashing.
