  1. Amongst all the poor performances up top, Hayden Carter has been fantastic
  2. Thomas has been poor since coming on.
  3. If I were a birmingham supporter I’d be furious at this ref.
  4. Happens all the time when you can’t put away your chances.
  5. Birmingham seemed to come out this half wanting to press higher. Great time to bring Diaz on for those long diagonals
  6. It’s been worse. Hasn’t gifted them a goal.
  7. £8 million on 25% odds to return £150 million seems like a good bet. Even at 15% chance it’s a good bet. Provided £8 million loss doesn’t matter to you, as it doesn’t to billionaires in another country who could give a toss about the community.
  8. But if you believed what TM was saying at the time, “he’s banging them in in training…” then they had to have seen some potential. Maybe could have gotten him on a long term deal with very low wages. At that time he likely would have taken any offer we gave him.
  9. Agreed but he’s going somewhere else for free in the summer either way.
  10. If you’re to believe GB, this couldn’t have been true as it would have had to been reported to Rovers by Viareal Doesnt matter anyway as he’s not going to be here next year anyway. Highlights the utter stupidity of the last regime letting so many players run their contracts down and walk for free.
  11. Agree with most on here regarding the subs. A change was needed as the game was much to open, but felt the problem was the numerical disadvantage in midfield. Esther than going 5 at the back would rather have seen us sacrifice Szmodics or Gally for a deeper midfielder. Garret or A Wharton would have helped balance the field without sitting too deep. Our high press was pretty unsuccessful all afternoon so setting a lower line of confrontation for the last 10+ min made sense.
  12. Agreed on the subs. If anything we needed another man in midfield. Maybe Garrett or Wharton for Szmodics. The game was so open in the middle with us consistently out numbered it was only time before Trav or Morton made a mistake.
  13. A Wharton and Garret going to have to play a role next month. Trav and Morton can’t be relied up in a two man midfield for that many minutes
  14. The law itself hasn’t changed but how it’s interpreted has. https://www.football.london/international-football/handball-rule-world-cup-2022-25428941
  15. Agreed. Played well, on another day we win 3-1. Mistakes made, substitute botched, chances missed but that happens every match. The tempo and pace were top class. Massively disappointing not to advance but glad we didn’t sit back (until the last 15 min) and go out trying not to lose. The lads can move forward knowing that for the next 9+ matches they can get the better of any side.
  16. Deliberately has changed. From on purpose to arm in unnatural position
  17. Hard to respect any player that would prefer to lay in the pitch than track back and help his teammates. Just goes to show it’s more about him than the club. No surprise there.
  18. Good game. We didn’t take our chances but to be fair they could have had 3 more too. Fantastic hit to win it, I must say. The substitutes costs us as both were beaten for their 2nd, within seconds of coming on. From that point in you felt as though we would be lucky get to penalties.
  19. Excellently struck by Hedges…unlucky not to be 2 up
