It’s all too predictable. The result. The play. Not a single player in the attack can create a chance. No one can beat a player, no one can finish a ball played to them. seems the more we have the ball the less likely we look to score.

How poor of an effort must Wharton give in training to not show he’s better than Morton?

Sorbs has been shit too lately. His abilities to get balls in the box only help if we have a center forward who could get on the end of anything.

Really need something different in the attack. Hedges was able to find space on the right but did little with it. Szmodics hasn’t touched the ball in the attacking half, Diaz playing like Brereton, Gallagher playing the same as always (shite). Thomas could provide sone pace but whos he going to play the ball to? Hard pressed to see us scoring the rest of this season yet alone the second half.

Our attack is league 1 standard.

Hanley seems to have a no contact there. Might be his Achilles

Gallagher is so poor at anticipating the balls played in from the wings. Doesn’t matter if it’s in the air or on the pitch, he just doesn’t seem to know when or where is coming.

Morton with a very dangerous give away there after BBD touch looked more like one from Gally.

Really wish we would have gotten that Undav deal over the line in January. Would have been a massive help today and for the push.

The Trav, Morton, Buckley

I think the 2 midfielders are asked a lot in this system, often out numbered and really forced to play deeper, win the ball and distribute wide. Goals and assists aren’t really a major part of their roles. Both centroids seem to be asked play more like a 6 than a 6 and an 8.

A bit harsh on those 3. The way we’re set up, all three play deeper roles.

Had the Undav deal not fallen through, I have imagine we’d be pushing for top2
