  1. No, he appreciates them, he gives them special little titles like , losers, stupid and no marks. So if Stanley make the Prem you'll stop going on them. Bit like the clarrots, for years they have bad mouthed the prem , this year it looks like they can make a push for it and it's the "promised land" all of a sudden. And don't give me any crap about stanley, I was at the Formby game and followed 'em home and away in the Lancashire combination. Lived a couple of hundred yards away. When did you start going on then, just out of curiosity.
  2. I'm referring more to to PrimaDunna's attitude when he's getting his balls busted in training.
  3. Fox Soccer Channel, 12:15 pm Arizona time. Same day delay, so if you don't want to know the score stay away from the 'puter
  4. I don't think he can hack it anymore, if he was an asset to Brum why would they let him go cheap and to us of all people. I have my doubts, how do we know he will get along with sparky? How will he ract at Sparky's training regimen? Can he even handle it. Low fee and pay per play is the only saving grace, just in case he does make it.
  5. Good read that Royal. You seem like a decent bunch. Hope for a good game and a Rovers win as it's on telly over here and I am sick of seeing us losing every time we're on. Buggars up my whole day.
  6. You a ref or summat, you're always defending them.
  7. Man oh man we are a cynical bunch us Rovers fans.
  8. Morientes did not exactly set the Prem alight either, doing good now though in he.
  9. Hey, we all do stupid things as a kid, but we usually get older, wiser and see the error of our ways
  10. It's really getting quite old, from the refs, the media and the pundits. I saw the highlights of Pedersons goal against the Geordies, what a cracker I thought the commentators were quite ho hum about it. Now I listen to the Commentary on the Spurs goals and the bloke was going effing nuts about what a great goal, with every one. Why can European officials manage to ref us in a reasonably fair manner but in the Prem we get all this borderline/phantom stuff called against us. I'm not paranoid am I? I'm not fancying ANY of those, I was hoping for something abit "sexier"
  11. I think we will all take the same performance and the same result at Reading at this point won't we?
  12. Errm, It might, heard Sparky on SSN and he was saying it'd be like have three new signings, would keep his eyes open for more. It came across to me like we might be still weeing with the willy we got (albeit with 3 additional inches)
  13. I'd fancy giving Ooyah a shot with the armband.
  14. TND is totally correct of course, it is about nostalgia. We do have a Stadium now to be proud of. Nowt wrong with a bit of nostalgia in my mind if it stirs fond memories.
  15. Personally, I'd rather upend one quality team before we go out.
  16. I dated Bill Bancrofts daughter. Or so I was told, I stood her up outside the Blackburn Mecca after only a few dates. I was crushed when I was told the Bancroft name was not mere coincidence, what could have been eh. I'd argue that some the middle of the Riverside where I stood could be quite vocal, and without doubt nuts, the Forest fans would not come in after they had cleared the BBE. Loved the BBE in my early teen years but loved the Riverside late teens
  17. I hope so, I kind of liked him. I don't know about that Rev, better check see if Jim's lad has been mascot recently.
  18. I do totally. But never been on the new one. the old ground has so much character. I don't however miss the men's bogs in the middle of the riverside. Have an aerial view photo of the old ground, love it.
  19. Well based on what I have read on the performance of yesterdays officials Sparky must have said something to upset Hackett Also, "clear goal scoring opportunity" No such thing for our lot
  20. I may not even look, we are on telly over here again. I can't stand it. Another dismal loss. One thing I have noticed with the media, a lot of questions are being asked about our poor form, there is much speculation but seldom do we get a mention of the injuries. Loss again, a big one.
  21. I'm beginning to worry, could I be sued for child cruelty with the way Rovers are playing perhaps I'd best just chip in for a Video game or something. Poor little buggar.
  22. With regards the lack of effort, I think my point earlier is a valid one. MGP has been garbage, he plays, Lucas Neill wants away, not only plays but is handed the captains armbad (Hughes' single biggest mistake) Nonda is crap but he plays. Thats three players, either crap or indifferent, now would that motivate you playing alongside them, I know it would not me.
  23. Not easy though, if I were a business man and did not follow Rovers I'm afraid my question might be, If the town does not wish to support Premiership football why should I. Is next year the year the BIG tv money kicks in, just our luck to drop and miss it. Surely some wise money spent now will reap it's own reward. Still feel we'll be OK but knowing Rovers they like to shove my words right down my throat.
  24. Gonna get worse before it gets better init. 19000 on today, how many rovers fans 15,000? HEard the officials had a stinker too, not using it as an excuse but isn't it getting a bit repetitive.
  25. Bloke on RR just said 10 men?? No fear, knew we'd lose this one. Someone sent off? Never mind found out, Henchoz sent off. Problem here is team morale and it is Hughes fault. Sticking with MGP who is ######, will affect the effort of the other players, also having a short timer Neill as captain. As I type MGP has just smacked one home, I told you he was brilliant HEh HEh
