  1. Very very eloquently shoved right up his arse, well done BRFC4eva.
  2. Flippin' 'eck I've pulled! Don't even think about it Rev they are proud of their gene pool, you could cause some form of disaster if an outsider was to start mixing it up now. Natures a complicated thing.
  3. Excerpt from the KING of the podiatry banana peelers. "Burnley morale is high, as often happens when a team becomes greater than the combined sum of its parts. Rovers’ morale is low, their dressing-room a mess of clashing egos and overpaid, underachieving prima donnas. " Would be a nice little verse to print out and hand to each of the players before the game. Where did he get this crap.
  4. But of course Longsider, what kind of Rovers fan would I be if I did not remind you of that, it's my duty. Ifs and maybe's are all you have for the "depths" theory. As you well know never at any time did we sink to pro footballs cellar, never. So one can only suppose. Have a good time at the game, don't clock anyone either, I might know em.
  5. Perhaps if you had been able to shift your tickets you could have had the last laugh. There will be Rovers fans in home areas - who knows how many? I know of two Bolton lads who are missing Wanderers this weekend to take in the East Lancs Derby! Burnley's propaganda machine of best support in the land blah, blah, blah has been defunct for a few years now. It's not worth cranking it up again with only 10,000 regular home supporters and a failure to sell out against their most hated rivals in their biggest game for years. I'll be missing my first ever Derby having seen every one since the first in 1970, home and away. Come On You Blues! Who said anything about best support in the land? Certainly not me. The only propaganda machine in flow, is some of your colleagues prediciting a mass infiltration. Heard it all before.....zzzzzzz I admit I am actually disappointed with our home support for a couple of years now. I also think there a several factors/reasons for it. But, all said and done...both our clubs only have a limited pool to draw from. And at the mo....whether we like it or not....your home support is in excess of ours..... Oh...and I will claim one thing....a far better away support that yourselves... OK....I will go and prepare for the mass invasion of B***ards and our old friends from Bolton...that said.....you both shared a terrace at ours once before (1987 week after the infamous FA cup game......we were indeed honoured).........and it still werent enough Perhaps not you OLS, just the other 19000 clarrots that will be at the Turf. 19000+3995 = 22,995. The 19000 is one of you brethren speaking. As always each one says to a man, they never said that, but it get's said over and over. I'll say it again, we each have our embellishers. When it comes to support you have more than us, embellishers that is. Why you are this way I don't know, it's a myth you clarrots have portrayed since I can remember. I think some of the older clarrots have these young uns heads filled with nonsense I really do. See there are so many of you that have happened along since the ORIENT game, it's easy to understand why us poor Rovers fans would be confused. 15,000 on when you were a point or so from going out of the league, this following many many gates below 3,000 but listening to you lot it seems impossible cos everyone of these "new" clarrots seem to claim they were there through thick and thin. It does not add up. You have always padded numbers, it's what you clarrots do. You have as long as I remember and most likely will continue to do so. I liked the one where the subject of misplaced tickets came up, a number of 1500 was bandied around, the suggestions that perhaps you had sold 1500 less due to these misplaced tickets was met swiftly with a response from one of yours. Classic this, the 1500 misplaced tickets were actually at Blackburn suggesting that in fact WE were 1500 short of a sell out. Only a clarrot could contrive that sort of story, sad part is, I get the feeling he actually believed it. What's it matter fact is you were poorly supported in the top flight 4 decades ago, your urban legends began there, somehow skipping the 1500's and 2000's or 4500 record gate for the season against PNE, your support then was poor, but you always had the "population" thing huh. COme on Rovers do these suckers, I'm growing tired of their rhetoric.
  6. oh great - 90 minutes of the commentary cutting out ever 30 secs - leasst it doesnt miss anything but the game on RR finishes 15 minutes after ft NOTE TO ADMIN - CANT GET CHAT TO WORK - STILL. Help please Mine was cutting out every 8 seconds, yes 8 I watched it. To fix it I actually had to go and revert back to the older version of media player, fixed it good, no problems since.
  7. Was one game enough do you suppose. Are the clarrots imaginitive enough to have more than one style of play.
  8. Reading the LET, sounds like Cotterill has been scouting us since the Chelsea match, and they say it's not that important. I wonder will we have done the same?
  9. Didn't we lose 3-0 to Wolves in the final. Why can't any of these reporters seem to get their facts right.
  10. Not too sure about that, I think Matteo might actually handle the occasion better than Nissa. Nissa can get a bit nervous, but then again he can be very good, I just have a feeling he will be nervous for this one.
  11. What the hell you talking about Sam. How can you claim all this passion with a squad of borrowed players. At least our players are our players. Yours, well who does hold their registration. You're so full of it sam D. Admirable try but..... you'll always be the dingles, that's to everyone you know, not just us.
  12. wow spelling corrections from an Aussie - shouldn't you be pulling pints by now or is it only when Aussies come to England the only work they've got the brains for is behind a bar? Yes we do - and just for that I think I will report this infringement!!!! Sorry if I got the Villa date wrong - If it was after we had thumped them 3-1 they beat you then I apologise for not checking my facts. On the Dick head - I mean Dickoff thing - well our central defenders (McGreal/Sinclair and even young Cahill) have dealt with better. Todd's a good defender but you know Ian Moore does seem to have a knack of scoring in this competition. The player that concerns me most from your squad is Savage TBH We have 2 wingers that your defenders have to deal with. Whilst it may be at a higher level you have conceded 36 goals in 27 games - we have conceded 25 goals in 31 games. You have the added pressure of being expected to win - and win comfortably against a squad from a lower division that consists of 14 senior pro's - just let that sink in 14 senior pro's, imagine losing to that. Imagine it after the game, a squad containing not one player good enough to get into your team (according to you), from your arch rivals who can't even muster enough senior pro's to fill the bench and you have lost - wow what a bummer. Of course if recent reports are anything to go by you could have kicked our team off the pitch by then 80 coaches? Unless your planning to park one across your goal I am not sure how they are going to help you. You know, you started out quite well, but now of late your true clarrot vitriol is beginning to shine through. Frankly you are boring me you sound just like the rest, trying to downplay things when in fact beating us is something you want most in the world. I;ve read your boards, go on pretend not to be one of the hateful masses, I don't care. I did not really give a toss about the outcome of this game, the premiership and our staying in it is far far more important than beating a borrowed team with no history or accomplishments. But, you know what your sorry ramblings have made me hope we beat you, and beat you well. Even so if you get hammered you'll be playing your "nothing to lose card" but all the time you'll be crying behind the hand before you fold. May be beat you and beat you soundly just for the hypocrites as your self.
  13. Single, is how I would feel.
  14. Glad you can make it Gav, a shout for the lads from me if you would. Harmony in the house too, must be a good day.
  15. Been offered 4 for the Bob Lord stand but i'm not sitting with those monkeys. Bananas Gav, lots of Bananas. Think of the half time entertainment, picking fleas off the locals.
  16. I think you and I have covered this ground before huh mate? You remember the newspaper article? I would say confidently that our following that day was well above and beyond anything we have seen come from yours to ours since our paths recrossed in the modern era. (post sixties) If I recall correctly Longsider, not a knock mate, you weren't there so your only way of knowing is from second hand accounts. You have your embellishers as we do ours. Tell you what though Twas magical and we were ALL OVER THE PLACE.
  17. Better yet, why don't they cut the ticket in half so they can both share half a seat? I will refrain from any comments regarding the size of ladies bottoms.
  18. Too many of the PC brigade staying in touch with their feminine side. Either that or the boys on here simply aren't getting enough.
  19. "That's when I looked round and Rangers really started tugging" yeah right, tug the other one Fergusoftie, it's got bells on it. Instead of Man United you play Dundee United, Newcastle, Arsenal, Chelsea, what about getting motivated for games like that
  20. I've a feeling he may be wrong there. Spoken to a number of people this week who are going but have tickets in the home areas. Spoke to Nicky Reid tonight, and his feeling was he just can't see Burnley stopping Rovers from scoring, this after I'd suggested should Burnley score first we may find it very difficult to get in front. here we go again with the rovers will have half the stands nonesense. Last time you couldn;t sell 4000 and this time - if you are to be believed - you have not only sold around 12000 tickets but 8000 of those people have queued at Burnley to get them Nonesense - Jeez you clarrots even exaggerate when you talk about OUR attendances. No one on here has suggested any such thing. Some have said there will be Rovers fans in the home end and I think there will be but come on LS1882 don't get silly. Cool Clarrot downplaying the importance of this game to them. Many of them will do that incase they lose but they will mouth off just as much as any of the others if they win. There is a name for that but I can't remember it. Just makes me want to win even more, many clarrots are EXPECTING to win.
  21. 12 with upto 4 games in hand on teams above us. In theory we could go upto 7th - just 10 places below you Still love the arrogance, as I say lets hope your squad have the same and get the same fate as Villa and Liverpool before you. Is this the way to Amarillo, you'll be weeping on your pillows. Hey, I think Hughes might put out a full strength team and we will NOT show up with the apathy that Villa did. Your friend O'Leary said worst performance he's ever seen from his team I think. Doubt we will be that slack.
  22. I am not going to try a prediction. I am NOT too confident on this one actually. Burnley seem to be outplayed most games but don't concede, nick a goal and game over. Stevie Cotterill is no dummy, he knows how big this is for him, he will want to grab the glory so he will have been working a game plan since the draw was made. If the dingles get the first one it will be tight. Law of averages say we have to lose to them sometime, just hope it's not this time.
  23. Gav should be allowed to go, simply because of his history with the Burnley game. But, as a side bar, if we win, he (sorry Gav) should have to do the housework for a week and other general Butt kissing as demanded by Debs. If we lose he takes debs out for a meal and a ###### up. Sounds fair to me, have fun Gav. Gav, failing to gain the advantage with any of the above then try this, nick the ticket and break up with debs. I just re-read Debs post, I missed the reason number 3, it's a pretty strong argument.
  24. I suppose I don't of course the racist thing would not happen, two lads at Ewood making monkey noises stands out. At the Turf with 12,000 eating bananas with their feet, it is just another local. Smile lads and lasses it's just fun. I would never knowingly insult a Primate so.
  25. Let's stop with the nasty side of things here. Some of us have done things we regret and thankfully some of us mature with age. There was nasties on both sides of that there is no doubt. I think one poster on here actually bragged about his dad beating up a ###### up Scot while the poor fella was trying to sneak a leak. So no morale high ground for him either. I see no reason Longsider can not have grown some and seen sense, from my past ramblings with him (the original) I never took him to be a bullshitter and for me to say that about a clarrot takes a lot. Always trusted him as a reasonably straight shooter, so if he says he has changed then I can beleive him. Benefit of the doubt perhaps? Now to the footy, looks like the clarrots are pinning all their hopes on the ref. They aretickled that Dean, who is supposedly card happy, has the game. They think the likes of Savage and Dickov will be sent off. Anyone know this ref, if he is too card happy then it will ruin the game as a spectacle, nowt wrong with a good hard physical game as long as it's clean, no K. Ball type tackles please.
