Apologies for the link to this absolute rag, but here goes…
They’ve definitely been playing a weakened side. Points deduction or fine won’t make a blind bit of difference unless it’s an enormously disproportionate one that stops them getting promoted… be much better to ban their entire squad for their next game! A cynic might think they were deliberately dropping points so they could win the league at Ewood.
My suspicion is they set it up to win the title at Ewood, arrogant tossers, that would be a bitter pill to swallow. Longers over to you what's your opinion anything look odd against QPR?

That hurt. Not as much as it will watchin that lot celebrate. We are so football stupid sometimes why did we not hold the ball longer when we had it. Pears rushes a kick into touch could have held the ball for a while. Others same crap. Only ourselves to blame very poor time management. Probably gone now. JDT leaving? Hope not.

Takes about 5 mins to figure out how we are going to play. Hesitant fannying around at the back gonna be a long day. Snappy 1st.time passes across the back and forward, game on.
Don't see it happening we never seem to do well with the oddball KO times. 3.results went out way.one did not. Can we chase the pack better than we chase games. Who will score for us today?
-
Looks to me like by Tuesday night we will be out of the playoff places for good. Will struggle to beat ToMo's 8th place finish. These last 5 or so games we really needed to build a cushion for these last 4 games and we missed the oooortunity. It's over really..

I knew Brereton was a liability has any Rovers player been offside as much. Every pass he made went to Coventry. Watched balls run by him that he could have got with a little hustle. He has to sit for the run in.

We saw that coming, the manner if it just a heartbreaker. Still in the mix I suppose.

My 2 biggest worries, the return of Brereton. More worriesome Coventry have not had a come from behind win all season Now what are we known for? Curing what ails our opponents.

That Leonard slide when he almost made contact I found myself wondering had that been Gally where would he have been. Penalty spot,? Standong by some defender? Bet not going for goal kike the kid.

Eh? Darwen, Rishton, Great Harwood, Oswaldtwistle, Accrington, Clayton Le-Moors, Clitheroe, Haslingden, Bamber Bridge, Chorley, Hoghton, Mellor, Abbey Village, Balderstone, Samlesbury, Wheelton, Langho, Whalley etc etc.
Plenty of Dingles in some of those towns.

This is now a must win IMHO. Sadly I don't see us getting it done. Can tell if we are at it within first 5 mins, we have not last 2 games. I see a 3-0 terriers win and out of the top 6 we drop never to return this season. What happened to that exciting up tempo game with the closing down and quick one touch passing. I don't think Brereton should be starting either. Diaz is on leave and Brereton is here for the duration. We look better with Dolan lately I think and when is that Morton lad gonna get sat down for one if our own. A Wharton deserves a shot.

From the World Cup break onwards there were a few goals where you felt Kaminsky could have done better. His form wasn't top notch up to the injury. Pears has surprised us all, and there are very few, if any, instances I can think of where I have thought “Kaminsky would have done better there”.
Therefore it is counter productive to the whole squads mentality if you come in and do a better job than the previous incumbent on form, and yet are then dropped. Pears remains number one for me.
I think Pears' kickingnis better and I feel a little better with him when we are fannying around at the back. He has made some really good stops. Has to keep the gloves for me.

Got to say that despite the obvious disappointment, Blackburn Rovers football club are well and truly back on the map.
My phone hasn't stopped today with people wanting to discuss the game, great attacking football, how unlucky we were, tremendous support, promotion, play offs, JDT and Sam Szmodics!
We are no longer "Just that club run by chicken farmers" We are back on the map!
Got that sad we lost but yet proud of us feeling and after seeing the draw, good luck to em.

So you don't think it was a second yellow - even when Carter got booked for similar foul ?
Thiught Carter got more ball from my quick view, could be wrong but yes if he is carded then their player should have been.

The ones made to the ref at the half?

Just devastated, great game, they seemed to get sway with a lot but that loss lays firmly at JDT's door. Needed to leave alone a little bit longer.

The whole idea of Rovers being in the semis of a cup is novel to me. I am just thrilled I get the game on ESPN+. COYB!

In this theoretical It's tough. If you guaranteed we'd finish 4th or 5th and not have to face boro and Stoke I'd take playoffs because then I think we'd have a great chance against whoever else.
I think Wembley for a playoff final would trump a nice day out at Wembley to get beat by city or united.
Saying that there's obviously no reason we can't do both.
But aren't Burnley knocking City out we can beat Utd.

And just like that. POP. WTF Just happened, same 11 players. Need a minor miracle now. Don't see it does anyone else?

I’d be happy if I could see some style and a coherent way of playing emerging. As it is at the moment I can’t. This season has been really poor so far.
I know right? JDT came in with all these woderful exciting ideas. Not passing for passing sake, (Dutch Disease) fluid constant motion front four, defence to arrack as soon as we win the ball, it all sounded so good. We scoffed at Komoany but wow what a first rate job he's done.

This game did nothing but make me believe we could be in for a death soiral, maybe not so dramatic. I just see nothing at the minute, nothing to get enthused about. It's slow, predictable and we feed our opponents the belief they need to beat us, we stike their confidence. Was a Pen imho

It was a lovely pass bailed out, Morton was it?, at the same time awesome oass not many would thread that through to drop at feet like that. Loved it. Great goal.
