I liked Beck a lot as a defender, not many did him last season. There was one fella, can't remember who ir who he was playing for but he gave young Beck a torrid time, more than any other. Good in your face full back, played a lot bigger physically than he actually was. Derby will do well.

I would be tempted the get the lad with the dodgy foot signed. Sign him up if he's good. This way we can manage his return to fitness and hopefully avoid further injury while playing 70 mins in meaningless games. He can also use the time to get accustomed to doing things the Rovers way get up to speed with Val's style of play and football philosophy.
