Does anyone truly believe that Mowbray will still be our manager by the end of the season? I don’t.

The vast majority of transfer fees aren’t paid upfront, so I wouldn’t read too much into it.

Dack’s problem is that the other teams know that if they mark him out of the game, they mark us out of the game. If the opposition had other players to worry about, Dack would have more space to operate.

U23s facing tougher competition in preseason than our first team, couldn’t make it up. The whole of the close season has been utterly incompetent.
