Would be tough to be a centre half in our side when the two full backs are as bad as the ones we have, too. I do think that Mulgrew is passed it, but just chucking in a decent centre half isn’t going to drastically improve things. Our defence last season was (and still is imo) set up to fail.

If anyone else at the game yesterday came away thinking that he looked impressive I’ll be shocked, he didn’t. He didn’t have anything to do because he stood on his line rather than coming out to collect crosses. Really can’t believe that you picked him out to say he played well, screams of you seeing what you wanted to see.

Walton looked awful, were you and I at the same game? There was one corner in particular where he appeared to hide behind Graham instead of coming out to claim it, the ball ended up inside his 6 yard box. Early days but he wasn’t impressive and looked like a downgrade on Raya.
