Where have you been for the last 2/3 seasons where he has been benched in favour of the atrocious Bennett?. Mowbray doesn't fancy him, but he is forced to play him as he is our best right sided player. Such bad management allowing him to leave for nothing.

Buckley strolls around, doesn't pass and move, has no aggression and the best he can do is pass it to Nyambe twice when he was surrounded. 10m my arse. He doesn't look like he wants it, does he even break I to a sweat? Gallagher - decision making and technique abysmal Centre Halves look iffy against aggressive forward. Mowbray has to go quickly if we are going to make any real progress

Lenihan is our best defender,even if he's a bit of a neanderthal. What he needs is quality beside him, Del and Carthorse aren't the answer. Mowbray needs to spend on a decent "in his prime" centre back with a left foot and he needs to clear out the old tired legs around Holtby (Tybull/Johnson/Downing) and give him a proper centre midfielder to give him and Joe the platform to create.

My worry is that with all the goals we have scored and how we have looked good going forward so far, we are still mid table with as many lost as we have won. If we stop the rich vein of scoring, what then?

Douglas reminds me of when salgado came, and was clearly a yard off the pace. No doubting he can cross a ball, but if I was an opposition scout I'd be letting the gaffer know that is our weak spot and he should look to penetrate down that side, especially with no real cover from Gallagher or whoever plays ahead of Douglas.
